"Done with math!" Siwoo exclaimed. "I'm so glad! I hate math so much, I just want to go home and watch some episodes of Papadog!"
"Excuse me?" Harin asked. "Didn't you say we're studying for Korean academy that is tomorrow?"
Siwoo nervously laughed, saying, "Y-Yeah! We're gonna study, of course, Harin!"
Charles ran over to Siwoo. "Hey! Siwoo, I wanna come along for studying! So, where do you live?"
"Shinbi Apartment!" he said, in that moment, not really caring if he was scared of it. Instead of the expected reaction, Charles responded positively to it.
"Oh, cool!" Charles' face lit up. "It would be kind of awesome to live with ghosts!"
"Oh, so you've already heard the rumors," Siwoo smiled back at him. "It's cool that you're not too creeped out by it. If I weren't friends with Sanggeol, I wouldn't have friends other than Seungjin and Harin."
"Man, are people that afraid of ghosts?" Charles sighed. "They're not as bad as everyone thinks. It's just a few minutes of danger and you'll forget it even happened."
Harin looked over at Charles. "Their danger is always unpredictable. You must never underestimate them."
"Have you ever met one, anyway?" Siwoo laughed.
"Hey!" Harin started yelling. "My mom and dad always warned me about them, and they're never joking around. Although my dad's more scary."
They rode the elevator and they were finally at Siwoo's doorstep. "Oh, before we start studying, I gotta show you something!" Siwoo exclaimed, as he opened the door. There sitting on the couch in the living room was a green creature.
"Hey, young-" he started to say, and he looked at the group. "Well, I can't hide myself now. Kid, you should have told me you were bringing friends over!"
"This is some goblin," he said. "It said his name was something like-"
"I'm the great Shinbi!" the goblin bragged. "He doesn't need to introduce me, I can do that myself!"
"Yeah, yeah," Harin looked up. "I never knew that my mom wasn't just making stuff up when she told me about stories of a stuck up goblin and his tales when I was a little girl!"
"I bet your mom doesn't even know who I am!" he laughed, and Harin held a family photo. Shinbi, who was surprised at the familiarity of the people in the photo.
"See, that's my mom, dad, me, and my older brother!" she said.
"Wait, THAT'S your mom?" he asked. "You're joking, right?"
"You mean, you KNOW her?!" Harin, who was even more surprised that her mother met an actual goblin, answered Shinbi with another question. "I'm more surprised that Siwoo met you first! He's just some random nerd!"
"Harin, what?!" Siwoo was quite insulted. "I'm not just some random nerd! I've known you for so long, so you should know that!"
"Sorry, Siwoo..." Harin sighed. "I got too carried away. Anyway, let's just study."
Shinbi just teleported so that he could think about the situation that was front of him. Then, they reviewed Korean academy homework, with Harin constantly checking to see if Siwoo wasn't just copying off her work.
The children gave up after 30 minutes, and Siwoo could finally watch Papadog. Despite how old the show was and his age, he enjoyed it a lot. His dad wasn't coming home until midnight due to work anyway.
The others were bored, as Harin was watching drama on her phone, while Seungjin was scrolling through his Instagram feed, which he rarely did, which meant he was really bored.
Charles decided to just watch Papadog with Siwoo because he realized that he never really watched Korean animation, so he was curious.
The doorbell rang, and Siwoo opened it. "Oh, hey, Eunha."
"Hi," she greeted. "I'm here to watch Big Brother Seungjin. Are you guys still studying?"
"Nope," he said. "You wanna see him now?" As he said that, Eunha just went into the living room and sat by him. Charles waved at her, and the young girl did the same.
Harin turned over to Eunha. "Hi, there! Wanna watch this with me, Eunha?"
Eunha shook her head. "You're watching that old drama? Man, Big Sis Harin, your taste is kind of weird. I recommend Heart Trident. The couple there is cute."
"Goodness," Harin laughed. "My classmates already recommended that drama millions of times. The couple trope is not my type of love story."
Eunha was thinking: She only doesn't like it because the love interest is the childhood friend, and she doesn't want to get it mixed with her own love. Ah. So, she's in the denial stage.
"Is something on your mind?" Harin asked. "You're spacing out."
"No," she smiled. "I'm fine. I'll be coming home with Seungjin, wanna come along?"
"Sure!" she replied. "I hope I won't be a bother."
The group greeted Siwoo goodbye, and they walked back home. Charles decided to leave too, since everyone else was too. His home wasn't in the same direction as Seungjin and Harin's houses, so he went home alone.
"Is Hajoon available on Saturday?" Eunha asked. "I need help with English homework."
Harin giggled at Eunha's question. "I don't know what his schedule is, sorry dear."
"That's okay!" Eunha, determined, responded. "I can just text him, see?"
Harin looked at Eunha's phone, which she knew was Seungjin's phone from 6th grade. "Goodness, even fourth graders have phones? Also, why is his name set as 'Handsome Big Brother Hajoon Choi'? With a heart?"
Eunha took back her phone from Harin's sight. "No, it's not. You didn't see anything."
"You mean, little Eunha here likes my big brother?" Harin giggled. "It's okay, Eunha, I won't tell anyone! I mean. I don't have anyone to tell." When they got to Harin's house, she said goodbye, and she went into her house.
A/N: Sorry for the delay! Also, if you're curious as to the contact names in the characters' phones, here they are!
I'm not sure if the Korean is entirely correct, but I thought it would be fun to come up with names like these!
