Christie's POV
I go home hiding my tears from the taxi driver. I tell Mom that I have cancer. She breaks down in tears and when my twin, Jayden finds out, he can't stand it. We've been together in everything and he couldn't bear to hear the news. Even though the doctor's appointment was due tommorrow. They called the day before (two days after they find out)
"Is this Christie Robyns?" The lady asks. "This is." She talks happily, which I think is kind of strange. She clears her throat and talks in a serious voice. "Well, we found a large and a medium tumor in your brain." I hold my hand over my mouth and cry. "Really?" I ask in a shaky voice. "No" She says laughing. I keep crying i'm going to di- wait what? "No? What do you mean?" She laughs. "You don't have cancer! It was all a mistake!" I laugh and cry in joy. "We got you mixed up with Christie Galveston. Poor girl's had cancer for about a year. She might pass soon." I frown. "Wow." I say. "We're just messing with you again!" Says the lady. "Ok bye!" "Bye!"
I tell Mom the exciting news and she squeals with joy. Jayden hugs me and kisses me and twirls me around when he finds out. What great news!
