When Luz walked into Hexside, she was greeted by Gus and Willow.
''Hey, Gus! Hey, Willow!'' She said.
''Heyyy Luz!'' Gus replied. Willow just waved.
Luz wanted to ask them if they knew where Amity was, but she didn't want to risk getting all wolfy in front of everyone, so she was going to try her hardest to avoid her, even if that hurt.
''Sooo, have either of you two been up to anything?'' Asked Luz.
''Eh, not really.'' Willow answered.
''𝘐 have!'' Gus shouted, excited. ''But it's a SURPRISE.''
''How about you?'' Asked Willow.
''Yeah, BEING SUPER GAY.'' Luz thought.
''Uh, nope!'' Luz said aloud.
Willow nodded. ''Oh yeah, have you seen Amity? Gus and I haven't and you hang out with her a lot, so we thought to ask you.''
''No, ahahaha, goodbye now!''
Luz then left, because she didn't want to think about Amity.
''That was weird, normally she'd try to find her.'' Said Willow, after she left. ''She LOVES hanging out with Amity.''
''Haha the way you said that makes it sound like she has a crush on her or somethi- oh wait, right.''
''Don't bump into Amity, don't bump into Amity, don't bump into Amity.'' Luz thought while running down the hall which, unlike at Earth schools, is allowed. ''Don't bump into A-''
Luz then immediately bumped into Amity.
''HEY!'' Amity snapped. Then she turned around and got a friendlier expression and tone of voice. ''Oh, wait, you're Luz. Hey!''
''Oh, uh, hey Amity! Oh wait a minute I have to use the bathroom! Bye!'' Said Luz nervously, running off.
Once she got to the bathroom, she locked herself into one of the stalls. She didn't REALLY have to use it, she had to stay away from Amity and even her other friends, since they were talking about her.
''Okay... if I see or think about Amity, I'll turn all wolfy because I have a huge crush on her and strong emotions trigger my wolf form. And then if I turn all wolfy, people will probably ask about it. And then I'll probably have to explain that it happens because strong emotions. And then they'll notice that Amity gives me strong emotions. And then they'll realize I have a crush on her! That would be SO embarrassing and I'd have to confess to her in front of everyone. What am I supposed to do? It'd be so hard to avoid them and I can't just hide in here all day!'' Luz thought to herself. ''...Unless? No. No, I can NOT hide in here all day, I have to go to class and figure out how to properly avoid them.''
''That reminds me, I'm starting a new track today, right? I wrote it down somewhere...'' She then pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket with the track on it. ''Ah-ha! Now let's see. Oh no.''
It was the Abominations Track.
