Tears welled up in my eyes as his words made my heart shatter.

"Ban, you idiot!"

I took off the promise ring he gave me and threw it at him.

"H-Hey! Th-That was *hic* expens-sive!"

"Then sell it for all I care! Obviously you don't care about my opinions and what I have to say! It's over, Ban! I'm leaving!"

I ran into the closet and packed a bag hastily.

I ran down the stairs and grabbed a coat, exiting The Boar Hat Inn.

I hurriedly pulled open the door and left, the others coming down, having just woken up, as I left.

With tears flooding my vision, I wiped my eyes, trying to focus on where I was going. 

I didn't care where I ended up.

I just wanted to get away from there.

Ban was immortal but I still worried. How could he be so nonchalant about going into battle with DEMONS? They can eat souls!

I couldn't stand it.

I thought that maybe I could just forget all about him and move on.

But....

I knew that that would be impossible.

Ban's POV

I woke up on the floor with the worst headache.

'Ugh. A hangover....'

I pushed myself up and the headache slowly started to diminish.

I looked around for (Y/N), the love of my life.

My memories of the night prior were hazy. But, I could vaguely remember an argument...I think...

I looked around, rubbing my head. But, my face went pale and I froze in place when I saw her promise ring thrown carelessly on the floor.
