(Y/N)'s POV

I sighed....

Meliodas was doing this for Elizabeth's sake...

He was unconscious.

Along with Meliodas....

I was traveling with the Sins because I was staying in the tavern.

I had nowhere else to go. And Meliodas being the type of person he was, he let me stay there.

And it helped a lot that we were already good friends from a long time ago, during the Holy war.

You see,...just like Meliodas,...

I'm a Demon.

I had always had a thing for Meliodas. But.... he's never even looked my way...

When I found he wasn't dead after the war ended, as I had been cursed with Eternal Anguish by, not the Demon King, but The Supreme Deity at the beginning of the Holy War, finding my presence as a threat. Even though I don't possess a magical power of my own....and even now, I still don't....But the Demon King never knew. I kept it from him even though he saw me as his own child. And I knew one of his deepest secrets. I knew that he acted cruel to make his sons stronger. But I could see through his facade. I could see how he hated that he was pushing them so they hated him. But he knew...thought...that it was the only way. And I felt bad. And he knew that I loved Meliodas. But he despised The Goddess Race. Unbeknownst to Zeldris and Meliodas,...

The Goddess Race,...specifically Ludociel, one of the Archangels, was the one who killed the love of his life....and the mother of his children. And the Supreme Deity was the one who ordered it.

I could feel tears welling up in my eyes and my nose began to sting a little.

I gripped onto the cloth of my skirt.

'It's so cold and...bitter...Why?...Why does it have to be her? Why does it have to be Elizabeth? I wish—...I wish that he loved me...I wish that I wasn't so-...I wish that I wasn't so lonely....'

The Demon King still doesn't know about my curse that was secretly placed on me by The Supreme Deity.

Tears began to well up in my eyes.

Suddenly, Meliodas' eyes shot open, abruptly sitting up.

Before Merlin could knock him out again, he sent a powerful wave of dark magic towards her, throwing her to the wall, leaving her injured and on the floor for a few short moments.

"Meliodas! Stop this!"

'Why is it her?...I wonder what it's like to be in her shoes...I want—....I want him to notice me...'

Even though Merlin quickly knocked him out and locked him in Perfect Cube, with Elizabeth, I sat there and did nothing as this transpired.
