(Y/N)'s POV

I hummed, sucking on my lolipop, the stick sticking out of my mouth while my friend spoke to me.

Her name is Mariya.

She's a demon too.

You see, after the war ended, all of the races finally lived in peace. So, Mariya and I decided to come to the overworld and see if we could find her old master.

And...my former lover...,Meliodas.

My heart ached just a bit but I was used to keeping a strait face. I didn't really understand emotions. I don't understand why my heart hurts when I think about how he left me to be with a goddess....our naturally sworn enemies.

Mariya used to be one of the royal family's servants. Although, she was one of the highest ranked, working directly as one of Meliodas' servants. You see, we lived in the Demon Realm. And every now and then, he'd come home.

I was usually hanging out and talking with her while I was waiting for Meliodas to come back after his fighting for the day. But...one day, I found he'd left me for another.

That was the very first time, in my entire life, that I had cried.

I haven't cried since. But it still hurts a lit—...a lot.

"Come on, (Y/N)~"

I hummed, Mariya begging me to go with her to a Tavern/Inn she'd heard of, named 'The Boar Hat'.

I sighed, pulling my lolipop out of my mouth while I spoke

"Don't overdo it."

I said in my usual monotone voice, popping my sweets back into my mouth.

She squealed and grabbed my wrist, starting to ask for directions.

Once we got there, I looked up at the tall building.

"Aren't you excited? There's gonna be a lot of new people and so much new food to try~!" She exclaimed, sparkles forming in her eyes.

Believe it or not, behind that slim, hourglass body of hers, she was a real foody.

"mmm—..."

Mariya rushed inside before me.

A few moments later, I pulled open the door only to hear something I'd never've thought to expect.

"Lord Meliodas!"

I looked over to Mariya and I saw her bowing to a man who looked just like Mel-...No...Who was Meliodas.

My eyes gradually grew a little wide.

But I quickly regained my composure.

"Mariya, don't overdo it. I'm going home. I have no reason to be here."
