(Y/N)'s POV

I looked over to the tavern door, still in my waitress uniform. I was waiting for Ban to return. But somewhere along the way, I got lost in thought.

Ban and I had been together for a while now.

Currently, Ban was out getting some groceries and I was in the Boar Hat alone.....or so I thought.

"I-I wish Ban were to love me for me.... I'm only Elaine's reincarnation.....That's all I am..." I said to myself with a sad smile on my face.

But it always confuses me how a guy like Ban could love a girl like me.

"I already do love you for you though." I heard him whisper in my ear making me a blushing mess and causing me to squeal.

"K-Kyaaa!!!" I squealed out of shock.

"B-Ban!? H-How long were you standing there?! I-I thought you went out to get some groceries!" I exclaimed.

"I did. They're over there...." he said, eating a handful of lingonberries, pointing to the kitchen counter.

Suddenly, I got a large dose of Deja Vú as he spoke his next sentence, sparking a conversation.

"Now...let's go somewhere more private." He said mischievously, shoving the rest of the berries into his mouth, swallowing them quickly.

"N-No! Please quit messing with me!" I exclaimed, my face now a tomato.

"I'm not fooling around. I'm being completely serious." He said, a serious look on his face.

"I-I....I can't...I'm...happy but...I have to mind the bar." I said, blushing.

"Hey, don't worry about it. I'll just get Gowther to be the waiter for a little while. Maybe we can even close up the tavern a bit early and have the tavern all to ourselves. Everyone's out for the day and we haven't gotten a single customer." He told me, crouching to meet my eye level.

"I-I...." I stuttered out shyly.

"I'll just go talk to Merlin real quick and we'll be scot-free." He said, standing up.

I just watched him, speechless, walk out the tavern and return with Merlin.

He then talked to her for a few moments and she looked over to me, looking intrigued.

I heard her sigh and say "Just don't make a mess. If you do, clean up after yourselves. This is quite amusing though. Does she know that you're planing on doing this?" She asked.

Ban chuckled light heartedly and said a simple "no." What were they talking about?

"Alright then~ I'll let the captain know. The tavern is left to you guys for the rest of the day. Don't do anything stupid, Ban." She said, walking out.

"Buh-bye~" he cooed our to Merlin, waving until he was sure she was gone.

"Alrighty then..." he said, locking the tavern door.
