I'm basically just turning this book into a dream journal or something like that.I just wanted to take a nap after I had returned home from work. I was not expecting to have a weird dream I could write about. I wouldn't say that it was interesting enough to turn into a story idea like Dreaming As a Werewolf, but it was definitely chaotic and interesting enough to share with people. One thing that was interesting about this dream was that there were both people that I know in real life and fictional characters. Also, there were these plastic kiwi birds that I could place around like plastic flamingos, but if they were left for long enough, they would make these eggs that I could use to place even more plastic kiwi birds. It was just ridiculous.
Anyway, in the dream, I wanted to cheer up a friend so I started setting up clues for a scavenger hunt using the plastic kiwi birds. The hunt was supposed to lead to some sort of wish-granting treasure or something. So, I was going to some treehouses (actually they were more like structures that were over the ground rather than actual treehouses) to set the clues inside of cannons. Why did I think that using cannons was a good idea? Then, after I was finishing setting up the clues for the scavenger hunt, I went inside of a building where either my brother or someone else was setting up a party that was going to be "Under the Sea" themed. I was skeptical that they would be able to do it properly so I went into a room filled with Disney Princesses and told Ariel about the party. We went to check on the party and it was looking pretty good.
It was time to get my friend to participate in the scavenger hunt. So, I climbed into the treehouse my friend was in, and it turns out that my friend was Bendy the Dancing Demon from Bendy And The Ink Machine. He was in his perfect toon form, but he was also a vampire. But the only way I could tell that he was a vampire in my dream was because he was surrounded by mirrors and his reflection was in none of them. But he was sitting behind an old, black, small TV, and somehow there was a reflection of him on it even though the screen wasn't even facing him. I don't know how that worked, but it made me think about the first episode of The Owl House when Eda held up the TV and said something like, "Or how about this black box that reflects only sadness." That thought just makes me smile. Anyway, I told Bendy to make a wish on the ring that I was wearing. Which doesn't make sense how was the wish going to work for him if I was the one wearing the ring? But I was lying anyways, the ring didn't have any wish-granting abilities. Bendy still believed it and wished for three necklaces and to find a wrecked ship that he could explore. I was feeling confident that his wish would come true since the scavenger hunt would lead to an actual wish-granting treasure.
So, we went looking for clues. But when we reached the last clue, the "treehouse" was overrun with my cousins who were using the cannon to fight each other. And thanks to their antics, the last clue was gone. The next thing I know, we're in the party room with our parents who were scolding my cousins for fighting each other while I wanted to know why they ruined my clue. Yep. I'm just standing there holding a plastic kiwi bird while the grown-ups are scolding my cousins. There was a slight joking about how cousins always seem to be at war with each other. Apparently, they were starting the Hanushas vs Hilts war. 😂😂 Then, they asked where they even got a cannon. That's when I had to explain that I was using it for a scavenger hunt. OwQ"
And that's when I had to get out of bed for dinner time. Bendy and I never got to find the treasure, and I never got to see how my cousins were punished or how the party was. So, that was what happened in that dream. Crazy, right?
