(Okay so, this was a story idea that I had written down years ago. Like "Dreaming As a Werewolf" it was also inspired by a dream I had. A summary of the dream is that I was running around a mall in outer space stealing supplies before the space officers caught me because I was a part of some sort of resistance. So, this is what I wrote so many years ago, it will be a lot more cringy than my other works. I actually wouldn't mind if you wanted to skip this chapter.)
"HOW are you doing, little Daisy?"
"I have told you countless times that my name is CAISY!" she turned around and glared at Parker Chats.
He nervously looked at his foot tracing the ground. "Well, daisies are so pretty don't you think?"
Caisy rolled her eyes, "Lillies are my favorite, not daisies."
A third voice came from behind her, "Well well, if it isn't RAISEY."
Caisy sighed and turned on her toes to face him, "Well, hello JOCK! Are you heading out to hit on nerdy girls so that they will do your homework for you?"
"At least I don't pick girls who have unibrows." The other jocks laughed.
Caisy's hand instinctively went over her nose between her eyebrows. She was pretty sure that she had plucked and trimmed her hairs last night. Yet it seemed to keep on going wild. She glared at Jack, "Just you wait. Someday, I'm going to reach the stars!"
Jack and the other jocks bursted out in extreme laughter. Jack's blonde hair was slicked back as his gray eyes twinkled maliciously and his large bulk fit comfortably in his high school jock's jacket.
Caisy would have loved nothing more than to ruin his perfect look by tearing her claws in his ears, but then Rosie intervened, "Come on Caisy. You need to get away from this jerk." She took Caisy's wrist and dragged her away into the shadows behind the school as Parker trailed behind them. Caisy always liked the dark, she was a creature of the night, and she liked Rosie. She wore a long green peacoat over her cheerleading uniform for modesty and her straight red hair was tied back in a ponytail with a huge bow. She gave Parker a quick skeptical look then returned her blue eyes on Caisy, "You need to calm down! You nearly gave yourself away back there."
Caisy scoffed, "No I didn't. And I am as calm as normal."
Rossie pointed to the side of Caisy's head, "That's the problem. You're always so tensed for a fight. Your ears are pointed." Caisy touched the tip of her ears until they shrank back to their small size. Her ears were small and completely round, but they became pointed like an elf whenever she was about to transform. Rossie continued, "You need to be careful and learn to control your emotions!"
Caisy spread her arms, "I'm just staying on guard. But I'll try to not reveal myself at inappropriate times." Then she turned and walked away.
Parker followed right behind her. When they were young and were actually close friends his hair was a light blonde but now it was a light brown that glittered in the sun and was sticking out in places as if to say, "I just got out of bed and I still look this good!" His eyes were a dark brown and glinted kindness. That day he was wearing a purple T-shirt with a pair of blue denim bellbottoms, and he also wore a silver choker collar. As he spoke there was always an undertone of his parents' slight English accent. "Your grandmother invited me to spend the weekend with you."
They were heading to the parking lot as Caisy returned her attention to Parker. "How do you know my grandmother?"
Parker shook his head and gave a laugh, "Are you kitten me? Every one of our kind in the state and around knows your Grandmother!"
