It's been over half an hour since I settled in my office but it seems, I haven't really arrived. I made a rush into the office this morning and virtually all staffs where already serving in there various function but many still managed to have a contact with me just to say "hello". I managed to respond to many just by waving only with the exception of the secretary. She goes by the name Eunice. She was quick to approach me that I had no choice than to reduce my pace.
'Good morning ma'am.'
'Good morning Miss Eunice.'
'Please ma'am, I have some informations I need to convey to you.'
'You know the way to my office don't you?' I asked curtly.
'Ok ma'am, I'll...'
'But let me settle in for an hour please,' I interjected.
'Okay ma'am.'
Shortly after I got into the office, I dipped my hands into my bag and brought out the letter. At first I my sentience shudder to open it but later consented. As I began reading I noticed he began with a poem. He wrote:
"Lips coral red,
Sparkling as lead.

To sun great height,
Is your head up high.

Voice cool as the moon,
Coated in an apple tune.

Eye glow as a sapphire,
Luring me to your empire.

Face cool like a sea fish,
Thrilling me to a love wish.

Palms smooth for cuddles,
Like a leaf from a maple.

My heart crave in longing,
For only you from morning.

At bedtime my desire,
Is for our love, all I enquire.
Gorgeous angel, I know have hurt your feelings, but never would that be my intention or aspiration. All I request for now is your forgiveness.
Please just give me a chance, I will never disappoint you.
Yours dearly, Samuel."
I got even more flummoxed, as I ponder over it. I was left deep in thought as I stare at the letter and try to create a picture of the whole scene. Eunice managed to get me back with a loud knock on the table. She had been calling for some minutes but I couldn't even perceive her presence. I snapped out of the my thoughts and tried to regain my composure. She had just come in to ask, if she can began bringing in all the documents I needed to check on or perhaps correct or sign upon. I gave her my consent as she step out to get the files. I immediately picked my phone to texted Anita. Just then I remembered I hadn't read through Samuel message earlier. How could I, when just the introduction was a shock to me. How would he address me as, "the one I love and will forever love". I managed to read the text and it was written with the same intonation as the letter. I closed the text and proceeded my my initial plan.

It was still a few minutes to 3pm but I just had to close earlier than usual today. I couldn't get myself together again and I wouldn't want to break down in the office. I drove quite fast than I would without an emergency. Anita had just done the same. Should she have not, I still would find access to her house since we both have the means of accessing each other's houses. As she caught sight of me she ran towards me and managed to wait for me to get out of the car before she gave me a big hug. I instructed the chauffeur to wait for me in the car. I wouldn't have wanted him to wait but I never knew if I would be leaving early, and wouldn't want to drive at night. Anita escorted me in a guided me to the couch immediately opposite to the door. I never knew when tears began rolling down my cheeks. She held me firm to her chest and patted me consolingly. Afterwards, I began explaining the whole situation to her. She definitely understood me, she is true friend. After she had listened to me calmly, she asked what I thought about him. What else could I think, I already fall in love with him, I just couldn't align the fact that he hasn't been his true identity all along. She asked if he had shown is real identity in the past, would I have considered giving him a chance. Well, truthfully, that may have met a negative response. She reminded me of the fact that sometimes, something's we need or deserve may not come exactly the way we desires it. She then began offer some suggestions to me. She was clear that in her view, she doesn't think Samuel is all that bad, and that I should give him a chance. I agreed with her, although I was scared. I also believed that Samuel may actually be having good intentions. Now it's left to him prove himself worth giving a chance.
After the conversation my heart was light, I definitely have poured out everything that made it heavy earlier in the day.
Afterwards, I bid her a good bye till weekend. But it seems I have another query to answer.
As I made my way past the threshold, I found mum seated in the living room. I knelt down to greet her and just then and there I noticed the bouquet I left in the morning. Ohh gosh, why didn't I get this off the living room before leaving in the morning, I definitely have some explanation to make. I tried to lift the bouquet without calling attention, only to perceive a huge sigh.
'So you wouldn't explain to us about the flowers,' she said in a gentle voice. I just motioned a be right back with my hands as I move into my room, since I well know that she doesn't take a 'No' for an answer...
