Samantha

It was finally Saturday and I knew that Ariane was having a party at her house and I also knew that I hadn't been invited, but look who doesn't care and is going to there? I laughed at myself as I walked down the street where she lived and straightened my dress. I opted for a black one, close to the body that had a neckline and instead of boots or sneakers as I always wore it, I put on a black high heel. The only thing that spoiled was this bandage band on my arm, it was taking longer to heal than I was used to.

At the beginning of the street I could hear loud music and some flashing colored lights. Her house was quite large and you could only see it from the entrance. She had left the main door open and there were many young people scattered across the front garden.

I walked, dodging people, to get inside and get to the door that led into the house. Already in the garden I noticed that many were looking at me and whispering, some boys already drunk flirted, but I ignored them.

As soon as I got to the door I stopped and took a look around. The music was very loud and the place was very full. People dancing and drinking. There was a lot of movement from side to side.

It didn't take long for Ariane to see me standing at the door. Leander was with her as was the rest of the quartet. Drew smiled raising the glass to me in greeting and I smiled back, he didn't really tell anyone about our kiss and we decided to keep our relationship just in friendship.

Ariane glared at me and I realized that she threatened to come towards me, but she stopped with her mouth open. I saw that Leander also looked surprised just as Drew also suddenly opened his eyes wide and soon everyone in the lobby stopped to look.

I thought it was strange, because most of them already knew me, so I didn't understand the reason for the surprise.

That was when I noticed that someone was standing next to me. The person held my hand and unlike expected I didn't feel that warm temperature that humans normally have.

"I wonder if they're looking at you or me." The male voice, unfamiliar and accented said.

I looked to the side and saw a boy who looked to be a little over 20. He had brown hair that went up to the chin, his eyes were green and his skin was very pale. He was so handsome that even I gaped.

"I'm holding your hand, because I wasn't invited so they'll think we're together." He explained speaking almost whispering and giving a beautiful smile.

"I wasn't invited either." I finally managed to say.

"Great. So we will be two party breakers." He smiled again and I opened my mouth again.

It smelled different, but it was delicious. It wasn't that bloody smell that humans have. It was something I had never felt before and it drove me more crazy than that Leander perfume.

He started to enter the house and took me with him holding my hand. We stopped in a living room that had become a dance floor in which colored lights were placed to flash and a metallic globe was hung in the center of the ceiling to make everything reflect even more. People still seemed bewildered and gradually returned to their activities.

He started dancing and I followed him trying not to be distracted by the smell, but it was impossible to avoid sniffing his neck.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Samantha and yours?" I said moving.

"Yuri." He smiled.

"You are not from here." I said still smelling his neck.
