Luke bobbed his head along as he ran around to make drinks. Jade coming back after her break had caused the bar to be flooded with people coming to listen to her, and he had not stopped making drinks ever since he had opened the bar.

'Cause I'm just a soul whose intentions are good
Oh lord, please don't let me be misunderstood.

Jade was playing the guitar and singing all the while dancing excitedly with a big grin on her face. He had never seen her this energetic and cheery before, and it seemed to contaminate the crowd as they cheered and clapped in rhythm with her.

He couldn't contain the smile showing up on his face. It felt good to see her happy again.

"Hey, Lukey-luke! Missed me?"

His head instantly snapped towards the source of the voice he recognized instantly, his eyes wide in shock.

Nathan was grinning at him, his head resting on his open palms as he leaned his elbows on the counter.

"No way..." Luke gasped.

"I'm immortal!" Nathan cackled, and the customers threw him a strange look.

"I knew it!" Luke yelled. "Let's celebrate man."

"So that explains why Jade is that excited." Luke chuckled as he poured a drink for Nathan and himself.

"How long has she been going like this?" He asked in amusement as he watched her bounce around.

"Two hours."

"She's gonna ssleep like a rock tonight." He laughed as he grabbed a glass and clanked it against Luke's. "Cheers, mate."

"Cheers, Nate-Nate." He winked, and Nathan gasped.

"Stop hitting on me, Jesus. I'm in a relationship."

"With..." Luke trailed off as he pointed at Jade, who was still acting crazy on stage, and Nathan's grin widened. "No way!"

"She couldn't resist my charm anymore." He wiggled his eyebrows, and Luke's smile fell.

"I forgot how annoying you were." Luke chuckled with a shake of his head. "Congratulations, mate."

"Thanks!" Nathan took a sip of his drink.

The knife Luke was using to cut lemons was suddenly pointed at Nathan as he glared menacingly at the boy. "Hurt her and I'll chain you up and throw you into the bloody river."
