Nathan could hear the loud music from outside as he led his brother towards the entrance of the illegal club. He gave the bouncer a nod as a greeting, and the man pulled open the door of a shipping crate. He got immediately swallowed by crowd of dancing strangers. His eyes swept over the sea of bodies as he pushed past them to find the others.

His eyes found Kelly and Simon first, who were talking while drinking a beer. He made his way towards them with a smile. He then noticed Alisha and Curtis standing beside them, who were busy flirting while keeping a safe distance between them.

"Hey hey !"

The others greeted him back with a smile, and he was surprised to find a certain pink haired girl missing.

Kelly's eyes sneaked an amused look towards Nathan when she heard his mixed thoughts.

His green eyes kept searching for Jade while he tried to remain unaffected by the lack of her presence.

He felt deeply annoyed by the fact that, even though she had hurt him, he was still missing her so much.

"Looking for someone?" Kelly asked.

"Nope." He shrugged. "Just enjoying the absence of lunatics with ridiculous hair colours."

He froze when he heard a soft voice behind him. "Sorry, sweetheart, I couldn't find non-alcoholic drinks. Is beer fine?"

Simon's lips quirked up in a small smile. "Yeah, it's okay. Thanks Jade."

Jade's vibrant blue eyes met his, and his jaw dropped.

A black dress was hugging her curves and leaving little to the imagination while her feet were clad in black heels that made her legs look even longer. Her pink hair was down and reaching her clavicles in soft waves. Her eyes were framed with eyeliner that made them pop while she had applied a dark burgundy lipstick that turned her mouth utterly sinful.

He found Jade utterly sinful in that moment.

She threw him a glare before looking away and giving Simon a bottle.

He wrenched his eyes from her with difficulty before looking at the others. "Hey, my little brother doesn't know anything about the whole power thing, so..."

He didn't have tome to finish his sentence since Jamie, his brother, had appeared right beside him. Jamie offered him a beer, which he gladly took.

"Cheers, man." He thanked him.

Jamie's eyes landed on Jade, and Nathan noticed in annoyance how his eyes darkened with lust.

She was going to attract a lot of unwanted attention tonight..

To his relief, his brother shifted his attention to Kelly as he smiled at her. "You alright?"

She smiled back. "Yeah, are you?"

Jade raised an eyebrow when she caught Jamie reaching inside his jean jacket.

"You up for a pill?" He asked her.

"Yeah, thanks." She nodded.

"You can have two."

"Cheers."

Simon pursed his lips. "I don't take drugs."

Jade watched Alisha, Curtis, Kelly, Nathan and Jamie pop a pill in their mouth and wash it down with their drink.

"Right." Jamie said. "What's that?" He asked as he pointed behind Simon.

"What?" Simon asked as he turned away, and Jade furrowed her brows when she saw Jamie drop a pill in his beer bottle.
