Elle POV"You alright, Elle? That's like the third time you've gone to the bathroom in the past 45 minutes." Noah gave me a concerned look, giving me room to get to my seat.
"Yeah, of course I'm okay. Flying always makes me sick." I lied to him. I have been doing a lot of that lately. I don't know why, I just couldn't tell him what was going on. Part of me just thought if I actually was pregnant, I would ruin everything Noah has planned. "Are we almost there?" I asked, trying to avoid the subject.
"About 30 more minutes." I gave him a slight nod, looking away. My heart started to race when I could feel Noah starting at me. "Elle?"
"Yeah?" I bit my lip, looking over at him.
"What's wrong-."
"Nothing, Noah. I promise." I smiled, taking his hand in mind. "You keep asking that, but I'm clearly okay," I said, a bit more harsh than I wanted.
"Elle something has been obviously wrong for a couple days now, and you're not telling me. So when I ask you again, I want you to tell me the truth." He gave me a stern look, kind of scary too. "What's wrong?"
My face turned red and my heart started to pace. Elle tell him, you can do it. You'll feel so relieved.
"Noah I think.." I took a deep breath, pausing. "I'm just worried how this long distance thing is going to work. I really want it to work, but neither of us have been in this position, you know?"
He had a serious look for a moment, but then it turned into a chuckle. "Really, Elle? This is why you have been so distant? Don't worry about that babe, you know why? Because we love each other. And if we love each other, we can make anything work."
I returned a smile. "Yeah, you're right. I do love you. Sorry for worrying you." I rested my head on his shoulder, and he placed is hand on my thigh.
"But don't act like I didn't offer you to live in my apartment and so you could do college from Boston, Shelly," he joked, placing a soft kiss on my forehead.
"I just might have too," I subconsciously whispered. I immediately closed my lips, hoping Noah didn't hear what I just said.
"What was that?"
"Nothing." I smiled, pretending to rest my eyes.
.
"Dad! Doofus!" I screamed, running towards my father and brother at the exit of the airport. "I'm so glad you're here! Thanks for coming to help me," I exclaimed, embracing both of them in a tight hug.
"Of course, Elle. I couldn't go any longer without seeing my beautiful daughter." He turned to Noah, sticking his hand out. "Always a pleasure, Noah."
"Noah!" Brad screamed, running to give Noah a hug.
"You seem more excited to see Noah than me," I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"That's because I am," he shortly replied. My eyebrows raised in shock and I heard Noah grin.
"That's right little fella," Noah laughed, messing up Brads hair. "Well shall we get going?" He questioned.
"Yup! We have the rental waiting over there." My dad lead the way, as Noah and Brad talked all things sports. I guess I really was going to have to keep him.
.
It was about mid evening when we finally got to where we were eating dinner. It was some Italian place, since Noah insisted we tried it out.
"I can't believe y'all have never been to New York, it's one of my favorite places to be, until you get sick of the crowds, polluted air, and the city never sleeping at night," Noah explained into depth.
