COLOR OF LOVE
they say colors
are kinds of love
converted into
different meanings.
blue is a sad color -
dark, and signifies rest
and an end to some
selfish lover.
yellow, so bright and
cheery - for a love that
is clearly too happy
and somehow bothering.
green, a color so relaxing -
is fresh to the eye, but
sometimes it means lack
of progress to a love that slowly dies.
all this different colors,
but one is eternal,
and is the true color
of love and forever.
red, a color not so bright
yet not so dark - not overwhelming,
and not too relaxing.
the exact same feeling
when the heart starts pumping,
erratic yet waiting, for blood to
flow and for love to grow -
it's red and it's a love that glows.
