The ruins of Tetravore City were a travesty to see in its mangled and weathered state. The weather occurrences in the Sea of Rust have certainly not been very kind to it, and it's unfortunate as it looked to have been a nice place at one point. Springlock clung onto her toy as we walked around the ruins, looking around with a saddened look on her face. She thinks Undertaker is going to return to us, but she does not understand the way death works just yet. The city itself was large, perhaps even larger than Iacon. A large city with no inhabitants. Some of its former inhabitants littered the ground as I walked past them.
"Papa..?" My Predacon squeaked.
"Yes?"
"When can we go home?" She asks.
Home, where Megatronus and his followers were. Perhaps it was just a one time event, and he was handled before too many innocents were murdered. I can only hope. But as to answer her question, I do not know if we will or if we should.
"I don't know, little one."
"I left toys there, I miss them." Her ears droop.
Seeing my Predacon in such an upset state made my spark sink, she truly did love her toys that Undertaker and I had gotten her. They always made her happy on a bad day, and today could easily be considered the worst day of our lives. She needed them.
"I will go back for your toys tomorrow when things have mellowed out, is that alright?" I ask.
Her ears perk and she smiled.
"Yay! Thank you papa!"
"Of course."
The wind started picking up, stirring up the rust around us. That can't be good. Springlock began fussing and whining, something was scaring her. The sound of what could only be described as an underground railway came from the skies, now that wasn't right. Looking up, my optics widened as I saw the clouds starting to form a funnel. This is bad, her and I must seek shelter NOW. I started running as quickly as I could, looking around for any place that could serve as a good shelter against one of the common weather occurrences here.
Springlock kept fussing as the cloud was getting closer and closer to the ground, the loud noise getting even louder. The buildings around had either too many breaches or was simply too unstable, in other words we are both fragged if we do not find shelter soon. I could both hear and feel the tornado touch down, the ground shook violently as it did so. It was not far behind us and it was impossible to outrun it.
Just then, I saw that up ahead was a structure. It looked fully stable with no breaches, it would have to do as our shelter. I sprinted full speed toward the building, arriving at the doors which appeared to be rusted shut. Oh for the love of Primus! I set my sparkling down and proceeded to pry the door open with all my strength, her hugging my leg as I did so. We could both hear the tornado getting even closer, we did not have much time until it came over us.
"Papa! It get closer!" Springlock cried.
"I know, get inside! Now!" I ordered.
She didn't hesitate and ran through the doors, I quickly followed her into the darkened building and the door immediately sealed behind us. And not a moment too soon. We felt the building shake violently under the tornados mighty strength, the wind shrieking right outside. I sighed of relief and sat down, my face in my servos. My Predacon climbed into my lap with a purr, making herself comfortable. I only smiled, closed my optics and gave a relaxed sigh.
It was going to be a long night.

"Papa, papa!" I heard Springlocks voice.
