A scattered dream that's like a far off memory... A far off memory that's like a scattered dream... I wanna line the pieces up. Yours... And mine...
The Realm of Darkness, a cold, lifeless place. A dark beach where the moonlight glistens on the foiled shore. A corrider of darkness opens and a hooded figure steps out. Another hooded figure is sitting on a rock on the other side of the shore.
"You have arrived..." The sitting figure utters. The other one walks towards him.
"I've been to see him... He looks a lot like you." The sitting figure follows.
"Who are you?" The other figure asks.
"I'm what's left. Or. Maybe I'm all there ever was." The sitting figure answers.
"I meant your name." The other figure abruptly questions.
"My name is of no importance. What about you? Do you remember your true name?" The sitting figure asks, turning his head to face him.
"My true name... Is..."
"Sora." A girl says and a vision blurs out of static to a sandy beach, with a beautiful, pristine ocean and blinding sunlight. Sora wakes up and sits up, yawning and immediately lying back down to be greeted with the girl's face. He jumped up, startled. "Woah!" Sora shouts, turning around on his hands and knees, the girl giggles. "Gimme a break Kai-" Sora says, but is cut off as another vision appears where Sora and a boy are running on the beach, having a race. "Giving up already?" The boy asks but the scene is cut off again to another vision where Sora, the boy and the girl are sitting next to a long palm tree. "If there are any other worlds out there, why did we end up on this one?" The boy asks and another vision appears, Sora is now in a cave, facing a picture drawn on the wall of the cave of Sora and the girl who was on the beach with him. "This world has been connected." An unknown figure asks, clad in a brown robe.
"Wh-Who's there?" Sora asks.
"Tied to the darkness..." The robed figure says and another vision appears, Sora and the girl are on a wooden pier, in a beautiful auburn sunset. "Don't ever change." The girl says, standing up and looking into the sunset. Another vision. "The door has opened..." The other boy says, outstretching his arm and holding his hand out towards Sora, both being engulfed be darkness, Sora, frantically struggling, with the other boy, in an emotionless, stationary position, still his arm outstretched. The vision changes to Sora, on a floating piece of island, with a large ball of darkness hovering above him, englufing everything in it's path. Sora is faced with an enormous Heartless called a Darkside. "You understand nothing..." A voice from the robed figure says. The vision changes and Sora is back inside the cave, a mysterious door opens, forcing a massive rush of wind, the girl appears from the door. "So.. ra..." The girl says weakly, passing through Sora, the wind, forcing Sora out of the cave, to a white background.
