The flash faded from Roxas, he was stuck holding his arms in front of his eyes, shielding the light, he looked around, however, he wasn't in the Sandlot anymore, he was in a strange place, standing on a stained glass platform showing a picture of Sora. Nobodies appeared, just off the edge of the circular platform and three weapons appeared before Roxas, floating. A sword, a shield and a staff. Roxas walked slowly towards the sword, looking around, he picked it up. The sword disappeared when he picked it up and transformed into the Kingdom Key. The Nobodies started to move into the area and attack Roxas. There were three nobodies, all surrounding Roxas. Roxas was the one to strike first, smashing all the Nobody's away in a combo. They all surrounded Roxas again, one hitting him back, but he recovered and slash at one, killing it. The others lunged at him but Roxas jumped back and hit them both with one strike, killing them instantly. Roxas looked around calmly at his surroundings and a beam of light made a small red and yellow treasure chest appear. Roxas walked over to it and tapped it with the Kingdom Key and took out it's contents, it gave him a small potion. Afterwards, a large door appeared in front of Roxas then a voice could be heard in the darkness. "Be careful. Beyond that door lies a completely different world. But don't be afraid. Don't stop walking..." The voice said. Roxas walked over to the door and opened it.
Roxas looked around after opening the door, there were now three glass paned structures, all spiraling upwards with stain glassed panels connecting them. The structures were all different colours but had pictures of Sora on them, the first was blue. Roxas started to walk up the stairs then more Nobodies appeared. "I guess I'll have to fight this the hard way." Roxas says to himself, taking out the Kingdom Key and slash through the nobodies in his path. The next glass paned structure was green and another chest appeared containing another potion. More Nobodies appeared and he slice his way through. He got to the final structure, a red one, even more Nobodies appeared. Roxas fought through them and another door appeared. He walked through it.
He came back to the blue structure, he walked forward, looking around, looking around and up at the light. He turned around and seen the hooded figure again as he vanished then a large Nobody called the Twilight Thorn appeared. Roxas stumbled back, afraid. He turned around and tried to run, only to be cut off by the edge of the structure, leading down to a seemingly endless drop. The Twilight Thorn had massive blue tentacles sprawling out of a scarf-like piece on it's neck, with large claws and a zip running down it's torso. It had the Organization's logo imprinted on it's face. If it even had a face. The battle commenced as Roxas pulled out the Kingdom Key, he dashed towards the Twilight Thorn but was caught in chains, hung up by his arms and legs in mid air, the Twilight Thorn squirmed up from the side of the structure, got close to Roxas and prepared to punch Roxas but Roxas dodged it and smashed it with the Keyblade. It then extended it's arms out and grabbed Roxas, throwing him up into the air. It went to slam Roxas into the structure but he narrowly avoided it and smashed down on It's head, making it fall off the side of the structure. Roxas relaxed a little. "Is it.. Over?" Roxas asked himself, then the structure was thrown sidewards, revealing the Twilight Thorn with a massive ball of energy. Roxas barely hung onto the structure by implanting the Kingdom Key into it, the Twilight Thorn then threw the structure upside down, making Roxas fall, he recovered and threw the Kingdom Key into the ball of energy, causing an explosion that sent Roxas and the Twilight Thorn flying. They both hit the structure's surface with a massive thud and the Kingdom Key stuck into the structure. Roxas picked himself back up and pulled the Kingdom Key out, he started smashing on the Twilight Thorn, trying his hardest to kill it. The Twilight Thorn then got back up and split it's body into spikes that emitted lightning-like energy that Roxas easily got around, even making more smaller Nobodies appear. Roxas took one final strike at the Twilight Thorn and it was dead. The Kingdom Key disappeared from Roxas and he was panicking as the Twilight Thorn fell on top of him, he screamed as a cloud of darkness and lightning covered the whole area. Roxas was struggling and the darkness was engulfing him but through the darkness, a hand grabbed him and an immensely bright light appeared.
Roxas ended up in a small white room and the blonde haired girl was sitting on top of a small structure. He looked around and went to speak but was stopped by the blonde haired girl putting a finger on her lips and smiling. "My name is Naminé." The blonde haired girl announced. There was a small silence between the two. "Roxas... Do you remember your true name?" Naminé asked. Then the hooded man walked behind Naminé and picked her up by the arm. "Say no more Naminé." He said.
"But if no one tells him, Roxas will..." Naminé tried to reason with the black hooded man.
"It's best he doesn't know the truth." The black hooded man interrupted.
"Hey! You're that pickpocket!" Roxas points out, pointing at the black hooded man. The man puts out his arm and a portal of darkness appears behind Roxas, he turns around to look at it and steps backwards only to get shoved into it by the man. Roxas ends up returning to the Sandlot, lying on the ground. "Seifer, strike a pose, y'know?" Rai says.
"How's this?" Seifer smugly says, posing in front of Roxas. Fuu snaps the picture.
"That's totally perfect, y'know!" Rai says, nodding. Fuu snaps some more pictures. "How 'bout one more, y'know?" Rai asks. Roxas stands up.
"What's that for?!" Roxas asks sternly.
"Keepsake." Fuu replies.
"Those freaks in the white jumpsuits are gone, y'know?" Rai concluded.
"Cakewalk." Fuu adds.
"What were those things..?" Roxas asks.
"Outsiders. That's what." Seifer replies, Roxas shakes his head.
"And if they don't wise up to the rules around here, I might have to take some disciplinary measures." Seifer explains.
"Oh yeah, Seifer's always looking after the town, y'know?" Rai says proudly, putting his hands to his side. Roxas looks over to see Hayner, Pence and Olette appear from the alleyway. Hayner looks at Roxas with an annoyed face. "Hmph." Hayner says, turning around and running back. Pence and Olette follow. "Hey! Wait up!" Roxas shouts, running after them.
"Hey! No chickening out of the tournament tomorrow!" Seifer shouts at Roxas.
Roxas walks into the Usual Spot as Hayner, Pence and Olette are eating sea-salt ice cream. "So... You hung out with Seifer's gang today?" Pence asks.
"N-No... It's not like that..." Roxas replies sadly then he remembers that he was meant to go to the beach. "Oh yeah! How was the beach? Wasn't that today?" Roxas asks.
"We didn't go. It wouldn't be the same without you, right?" Olette answers, looking down. Then Roxas looks down with a sad look. "... Sorry." Roxas replies. "Hey... How 'bout we go tomorrow? We could get pretzels tomorrow and..." Roxas suggests but is cut off by Hayner.
"I promised I'd be somewhere." Hayner says, looking away from Roxas.
"Ohh... Oh!" Roxas says then has a flashback to when they were talking about the STRUGGLE Tournament. "You and I have to make the finals. That way, no matter who wins, the four of us split the prize." Hayner says and it returns to the Usual Spot. "I'm outta here." Hayner says boredly and walks out. Static covers the scene
