Roxas and the gang arrive at the clocktower. Roxas holds the trophy up and the four crystals shine in the sunlight. He takes the crystals off one by one and throws them to the rest of the gang. He throws the yellow crystal to Olette who barely catches it, the green crystal to Hayner who catches it easily and the red crystal to Pence who fumbles it around before getting a good grip of it, leaving the blue crystal for Roxas himself, which he takes off and places the trophy to the side. Roxas holds the blue crystal in the air, making it sparkle a bright sapphire blue in the sunlight. "As promised." Roxas says.
"Thanks a ton, Roxas." Pence says, holding his crystal in the air to show a bright ruby red.
"One more treasure for us to share." Hayner says, holding his crystal in the air to show a bright emerald green.
Olette nods and holds her crystal in the air to show a bright golden yellow. "I've got a present too, for all of us." Olette says happily, holding out four sea-salt ice creams. Roxas is surprised and jumps up but makes a wrong step and starts to stumble, tripping and falling off the clocktower, static starts to fill Roxas' vision. "AWAGHHHHHHHHH!" Roxas screams, falling down.
The scene changes to a small, sunlit town with an older looking Kairi, walking down a path with her school uniform on, with her bag. "Kairi! Wait up!" Selphie calls. Kairi turns around and smiles at Selphie who was catching up to her. They both start walking together. "Hey, do you feel like going out to the island?" Selphie asks.
"Tidus and Wakka are all wrapped up in their ball game and won't go with me." Selphie complains. "Not today, sorry." Kairi replies sadly.
"Aw, why not?" Selphie asks.
"Do you remember those boys who used to hang out with us?" Kairi asks, disregarding Selphie's question.
"Riku?" Selphie replies.
"Yeah." Kairi replies with a nod.
"I wonder whatever happened to him. I sure miss him." Selphie says.
"He's far away. But I know we'll see him again." Kairi replies happily.
"Sure, of course we will." Selphie says, putting her bag and hands behind her. Kairi's smile fades.
"And the other boy?" Kairi asks.
"What other boy?" Selphie replies, confused.
"The one who was with Riku and me all the time. We played together on that island. His voice always used to be there... But now it's gone. I can't think of his face, or his name. I feel awful about it. So I told myself. I'm not going to the island until I remember everything about him." Kairi explains.
"Are you sure you didn't make him up?" Selphie asks, Kairi nods her head.
"Naminé?" Roxas' voice can be heard. Kairi starts to get a headache and holds her head. Static fills Kairi's vision.
The scene changes to Roxas falling off the clocktower. "Naminé...? What's happening to me?" Roxas asks subconsciously.
"Who are you? And that's not my name. I'm Kairi." Kairi replies.
"Kairi... I know you. You're that girl he likes." Roxas thinks.
"Who?" Kairi questions. A small silence.
"Please, a name!" Kairi asks urgently.
"I'm Roxas." Roxas replies.
"Okay, Roxas, but can you tell me HIS name?" Kairi asks.
"You don't remember my name? Thanks a lot, Kairi!" Sora's voice can be heard, coming from Roxas. Kairi gets confused.
"O-kay. I guess I can give you a hint. Starts with an S." Sora hints.
The scene changes to Kairi, she's lying on the ground, she wakes up and Selphie worriedly puts her hands on Kairi's shoulders to help her up, brushing Kairi's shirt off. "Are you okay?" Selphie asks in a worried tone, Kairi nods her head. Selphie stands back up as well as Kairi. Kairi looks at Selphie and smiles, running through the town, towards the beach. Selphie walks up to Kairi, who is stood at the foot of the beach, the shore washing up and hitting Kairi's shoes lightly. "Kairi...?" Selphie asks. Kairi pushes some hair out of her face slightly and takes a small bottle with a scroll in it containing a secret message in it. Kairi places the bottle on the shore, letting the wave swiftly sweep it away from Kairi and into the sea. Kairi and Selphie watch the bottle drift away. "What's that?" Selphie asks.
"A letter... I wrote it yesterday to the boy I can't remember. I said that no matter where he is... I'll find him. One day. And when I stopped writing, I remembered we made a promise, something important. This letter is where it starts. I know it." Kairi replies
"Wow... I hope he gets it." Selphie replies in awe.
"He will." Kairi says, Selphie nods.
"Starts with an S..." Kairi says.
"Right..."
"Sora?" Kairi finishes.
The scene fades to static.
