Chapter 2 Getting To Know You

I woke up with a big smile on my face, only because of the fact that I got a chance to talk to Za'niyah. I finally got her number and I was planning on using it to the fullest. There's no stopping me now, I'm going to get her.

I picked up my phone, to send her a message. I can admit I was nervous because she does have a mouth on her, but maybe she will give me a chance.

"Good morning beautiful."

After I sent that message I got up and went to take a shower, and get something to eat. It was Saturday and the office was closed, nothing at all to do today, maybe I can chill with Za.

20 mins later I was out the shower and threw on some basket ball shorts and a t-shirt. I picked up my phone and seen that Za'niyah texted back.

Za'niyah: "Good morning."

Honestly I was happy, I don't know why but, I am attracted to her.

I woke up well rested, no work today so I was just planning on staying home watching reruns of Martin.

I looked over on my dresser and saw that my phone was flashing. A message came in.

"Good morning beautiful."

Of course I blushed, thinking this might not be such a bad idea after all, maybe Kayla was right. I let him in and I sure will beat her ass if he did me dirty, it would be hell for her since she talked me into this.

"Good morning."

After I sent that message I got up to brush my teeth and go make some break fast.

After I got finished brushing my teeth, another message came in.

Brandon: "what are you planning on doing today?"

I mean I was off and didn't have nothing to do, I might as well see what he is up too.

"Nothing, I'm off today and was just planning on watching reruns of Martin, why wssup..."

Brandon: "nothing, I was just thinking maybe we can hang out?"

I decided to play a little game with him, I will surely enjoy this!

"So you got my number and you think you can blow me up and try to "hang out", I'll pass."

Brandon: "it was just a suggestion, why do you have to be so mean..."

"I'm not being mean I rather stay home and do nothing."

I wonder what look is on his face right now.

Brandon: "damn girl!"

This is fun, but I'm going to stop, I do wanna go out with him.

"I'm playing Brandon, I would like to hang out."

Brandon: "I see you like playing games with me, I like that though...😏 how about we go out to eat then movies at my place."

"This sounds like a date.."

Brandon: "well let's not look at it like that, if you want it too be then, maybe it should be."

This boy think he slick, but I'm going to give him a chance.

"Ok, I'm fine with our little thing, but when?"

Brandon: "around 7 I'll come get you."

"Ok that sounds nice, at lease I'll be able to watch some of Martin."

I couldn't believe myself, I got a "date" with miss Za'niyah. I couldn't stop thinking about her, it was now 1 o'clock, and our date was at 7, I wanted to take her out, and have a good time.
