Chapter 9 Unhappy Birthday Party

It's been a nice week since me and Za'niyah got back together, stress free, just living life. Today was the birthday girls big day. I had something planned for her and with the help of Kayla I think this is going to play out well.

I got up and went to make breakfast for her. It was Friday and I knew she wasn't busy plus it was her birthday so I went ahead and made some plans.

I heard footsteps coming down the steps and I knew my baby girl was up.

"Good morning baby."

I walked over to her and gave her a sweet yet passionate kiss.

"Happy birthday baby girl."

"Uhh, thank you."

My plan was to make Za enjoy her day, planning on taking her out and making today the day to remember.

"So what we doing today big head?"

"Don't worry Za, leave this up to me."

She smirked, and I enjoyed seeing that smile on her face.

"Ok, it just better be fun."

"Trust me it is, girl enjoy your breakfast so we can start our day."

2 hours later

We were dressed and getting ready to go to the mall. My plan was to take her out and buy her everything she will want and need. Pick out the perfect outfit for tonight and our trip.

We arrived and headed into her favorite store. Cashé, it was expensive but yet good quality of clothes. After about another two hours of shopping everything that she wanted we decided to head home.

"So Za."

"Yeah?"

"I have a surprise for you."

"Really? What is it!"

"You'll see when we get home."

I'm eagerly waiting to get home to see what surprise Brandon has home waiting for me.

"Is it big?"

"Maybe."

"Small?"

"You'll see."

"Braydonnnnnn! Stawwwwp and tell me." I really couldn't wait, I just wish he would tell me right now!

"Za you're too funny, just relax I promise you'll love it."

"Did I walk pass it this morning and didn't realize it was there?"

"No Za it's hidden you don't go where it's at, no relax."

"Fine! Since you won't tell me."

We pulled up in the drive way and I hopped out the car, and ran to the door. I heard him chuckle but I was anxiously waiting to see the surprise.

"Za wait!"

"What?"

"I have the keys smarty."

"Oh yeahhh, well hurry up."

"Forgetting your bags?"

"They can wait, now come on!"

I swear he just wanted to mess with me.

"Baby come here."

"Brandonnn!" I sang, he just wanted to keep playing. "I want to go inside, I want my gift."
