Fall For You

"Lance?" sigaw ko sa pangalan ng boyfriend ko.

Nasaan na ba 'yon. Bigla-bigla na lang nawawala. Kanina kasama ko lang siya tapos ngayon mag-isa na lang ako.

"Lance?! Hindi magandang biro 'to, ah."

Hindi pa rin siya sumagot kaya nagsimula na akong kabahan.

Until the music started playing and my heart pounding.

"Hey, baby." I turned my head to his direction and I saw him with a wide smile.

"Lance?" kunot noong tanong ko.

I chuckled and mouthed. 'Ano 'to?'

Pero imbes na sagutin niya ako ay nagkibit balikat lamang ito sa'kin.

His smile remains and then the most magical sound came out from his mouth.

His voice is mellifluous. It was hypnotising, like everyone who heard his voice was drugged.

The words rolled of his lips as though he had known them in his whole life. A sweet smiled appeared on my lips.

I bite my lower lip and looked at him with a teary eyes. Naglakad siya palapit sa'kin habang kumakanta pa rin.

"This is not what I intended

Pabiro ko siyang hinampas sa dibdib nang makalapit siya sa'kin. Tumawa lang siya ng mahina na ikinanguso ko sabay abot sa'kin ng bulaklak na mula sa likuran niya.

My lips thinned and his smile widens. He had a soft, almost voice. Melodic, his voice while singing are wonderfully melodic and tuneful. And his voice made me weep.

My eyes mesmerizing how handsome he is. From his naturally arched and thick eyebrows, killer smile with dimples on his cheeks, sharp jawline, brown eyes and his red kissable lips. He's perfectly complete.

The sweet vowels leaving his mouth being strong and powerful.

And when he stopped singing, he held his gaze in me. But his voice left me flabbergasted.

"You're impossible to find," he whispered and winked at me.

"Ano nanaman bang trip 'to?" mataray kong tanong sa'kaniya.

He chuckled. "Wala. Gusto lang kitang haranahin."

I looked away and remain silent. Siguradong sobrang pula na ng mukha ko ngayon at siguradong aasarin niya nanaman ako.

He lifted my chin. "I can't imagine my life without you, Samantha." It sounds cringe yet I like it. And then our lips touched.

My head is pounding, threathening to explode any second, when I started to reminisce everything that happened.

'Many days had passed pero hindi pa rin kita makalimutan'

"Ikaw na lang meron ako Lance. Naging masama ba ako? Bakit mo 'ko iniwan? Sabi mo hintayin kita?! Pero paano kita hihintayin ngayong alam kong wala ka na!" I snorted and as I closed my eyes tears starting to flow in my cheeks.

I let out a loud breath and jumped into the ocean feeling the cold splashes on tears stained to my face. And the cold water pushed me down. The water rushes in like it owns me. It enters cold and murky, stealing away the air that could save this fragile body.

The incredible pressure compressed my chest. The moonlight that was so strong just seconds ago is a blur. Bubbles brush my cheek. I saw the exit but no longer have the strength to survive. So close, yet so far away. Air being sucked out from my body. My breaths were agonizingly painful and terribly short.

'Siguro ito na ang sagot sa mga tanong ko. Sa oras na mawala ako ay makakasama na ulit kita. At maririnig na ulit kitang kumanta.'

My tears were mixing into the water. My eyesight was becoming dark and deluded. So I simply let the darkness take over me-then everything slowly faded to black.

Until a hand clasps my wrist. Slowly I towed upward to the moonlight above. Seconds later my body is shaking and he immediately embraced me tightly.

"Samantha," tawag nito sa pangalan ko habang hinahabol ko bawat paghinga ko.

My heart beat so fast inside my chest, it feels like my heart wants to leap out from my mouth.

Kasabay ng bawat paghinga ko ng malalim ay ang bawat pintig ng puso ko.

Tinignan ko siya sa mukha kung tama ba ako ng pagkakarinig. At mas lalo pa akong nangatog ng makita ko ang kabuuan nito.

"L-lance?" I uttered.

Shocked was written on my face. I swallowed hard and stared at the man in front of me.

He smiled softly. "Sabi ko 'di ba hintayin mo ko."

I immediately hugged him tight. "I miss you, baby." Tears skipped on my cheeks.

Lumayo ito ng bahagya sa'kin at saka ako tinignan sa mata. And then he kisses me as I have never been kissed. He kisses me as if he claiming me as I really am his property.
