The Time Traveler

FLASHBACK
She smiled sweetly at me. "Hey, babe."

It had been three days since I last saw her. My heart pounded loudly. The person who filled it with enough love and warmth.

She immediately hugged me on my neck and kiss me on my lips.

Mahina akong natawa. "Miss me?"

"Yes. I badly miss you," she said in her regular soft voice.

Because of her I learned to accept things easily, and live life in the present. Though I can go back to the past, and I can travel to the future.

I placed a soft kiss on her lips before caressing his face and looking at her lovingly. "I miss you too."

Hinawakan ko ang kaniyang kamay saka kami sabay na nagtungo sa sala at umupo sa sofa.

And I was starting to ogling her face, with her sterling gray eyes from her prosy eyelashes, and from her pointed nose to her red thin lips.

"Done watching?" she said while chuckling.

"Hindi ko lang lubos maisip kung paano ka napunta sa'kin," tugon ko.

"Ginayuma mo kasi ako," pabirong sagot niya sa'kin.

Nalukot naman ang mukha ko dahil sa sinabi niya. "What?!" I groaned in disbelief.

"Ofcourse not. Sinagot mo ko kasi naakit ka sa kagwapuhan ko hindi ba?" natatawang sagot ko pa.

Kapagkuwan ay kinurot niya ako sa tagiliran. "Ayan. Diyan ka magaling."

"What?" natatawa pa ring sabi ko.

"Sariling buhat ng upuan at lamesa."

"Nagsasabi lang ako ng totoo."

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever, Ethan."

I laughed hysterically and then she pouted her lips.

"Let's dance, mi princesa."

She looked at me with shocked expression. "Seriously?"

I smiled at her. "The last time I check, yeah, I was dead serious."

She raised her right eyebrow. "How? Wala ngang tugtog."

"Then let me sing for you." Sabay lahad sa kanang kamay ko na agad niya namang tinanggap.

I placed my hand on her back while her hand is on my shoulder. And our free hands holding to each other. Our eyes locked for a minute.

"Ako'y nasasabik sa'yo
Sa yakap at lambing mo
Naiisip ko pa lang malalayo ka
Ay kay lungkot"

She rested her head on my chest. If I have only the ability to stop the time at this very moment.

"Nababaliw ako pag naaalala ko
Ang tamis ng iyong ngiting
Lumiliwanag sa gabi"

I'm a time traveller. Naglalakbay ako sa iba't-ibang panahon para sa iba't-ibang misyon na binibigay sa'kin, at hindi niya alam 'yon. Dahil ayokong mag-alala siya. Sounds unfair but I think this is the best thing that I could do.

"Dinadama ko ang hiwagang
Dulot ng iyong pagmamahal
Huwag ka sanang magsasawa
Ang tangi kong dinadasal"

Wala siyang ibang ginawa kundi intindihin ako sa tuwing mawawala ako sa tabi niya. Kaya naman hanggang ngayon hindi ako makapaniwala na sa'kin siya.
