I spent minutes inside the cubicle crying myself out.

Nang nahimasmasan ay lumabas na ako at nanghilamos. My make up is ruined. Bahala na.

I was about to go out when I saw Cassidy, papasok sa bathroom.

“Oh, you’re here? I didn’t know that Thaeus brought a whore.” Nanggigil man ay ikinuyom ko nalang ang aking kamay.

Dumaan siya sa gilid ko at binangga ang aking balikat. She fixed her hair while facing the mirror.

“His mother wants me to be his wife so tumabi ka. You are just humiliating yourself.” Naiinis na talaga ako sa tono ng pananalita niya.

I turned to her and stepped forward, nagulat siya sa ginawa ko at napaatras.

“His mother wants you to be her son’s wife?really? Well, sweety, his son WANTS me to be his wife so I suggest you go and propose to his mom kung ikaw naman pala ang gusto niya.”

Nagulat siya sa pagsagot ko at sasampalin sana ako ng sinangga ko ito gamit ang aking kanang kamay at sinampal siya gamit ang kaliwa.

“Masakit?” I asked her and she was fuming mad.

“You are just his whore! I am his endgame!”nanggagalaiti niyang sigaw.

“Oh? Really? Then what if there’s no end, Cassidy? Paano kapag hanggang gitna lang?” I wanna slap her so bad pero baka hindi maging pantay ang blush on niya.

Nanginginig na siya sa galit at malakas na nagdabog. “This is not over!” she said before leaving. Mabuti nalang walang tao sa ibang cubicle.

My knees weakened at napahawak ako sa lababo.

This party is gonna kill me. I have to go home. Bahala na.

Lumabas ako ng bathroom at nabundol sa katawan na nag aabang.

I looked up and was shocked to see Thaeus.

“T-Thaeus.” Hindi na niya suot ng coat niya, just like the old times, tinupi ang sleeve ng dress shirt hanggang siko niya.

“Let’s eat?”

Napangiti ako, that has been our code kapag gusto naming umalis na kami lang dalawa.

“Yeah.” He pulled me through the big crowd, a lot greeted him pero hindi niya pinansin, a lot of eyes were fixed on me. Ang media ay nagkagulo but Thaeus’ bodyguard were around us.

Mabilis kaming pumasok sa elevator, nagkatitigan at sabay na tumawa.

“Sweetheart, I am so sorry about mom. But don’t worry, I won’t let her break us.” Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at hinalikan ito.

“I-It’s okay.”

“What did Cassidy do to you? Did she hurt you?”

“N-no, nagkasagutan lang…. actually…. I was the one who slapped her.” I thought he was gonna get mad at me pero he clapped slowly, like I did something amazing.

“I’m so proud of you, sweetheart.” He laughed. Baliw ba siya?

Pagkalabas namin ay dinumog parin kami ng media, nakahinga lang kami ng maluwag ng nasa loob na kami ng kotse.

When we were on the road, nasa hita ko na naman ang kamay niya. His favorite habit.

We stopped near a beach, hindi kami lumabas ng kotse, we just admired the moon na papalabas pa lang galing sa dagat nang naalala ko ang gift.

“I uh…. I bought you something. It’s so cheap, actually but I uh….. whatever.” Agad ko itong tinulak sa dibdib niya at tumingin sa malayo. Nahihiya akong tignan ang reaksyon niya.

“Sweetheart, look at me.” Hindi ako lumingon at ilang ulit niya pa ay lumingon na ako but I wasn’t expecting to see him wearing the earring.

He looked….. hot.

I stared at him and was about to say something when he leaned closer and claimed my lips.

“I love you…” we both whispered.

The next thing I knew, pareho na kaming nakahubad dito sa backseat.

I didn’t know that making love in the car was very exciting.

Pagkatapos magbihis ay napagdesisyonan naming kumain sa isang malapit na restaurant. The car still smelled sex.

We were enjoying our night….his night actually. And we were happy.

It was already 10 pm when he decided to drive me home.

“Thanks for the night sweetheart, hindi matutumbasan ng kahit anong party ang mga oras na kasama ka.” Nakadungaw siya sa bintana kaya ay binigyan ko siya ng isang halik.

I bid goodbye and went inside the house nang bigla kong nakasulobong ang isa sa mga maid na namumutla.

“M-ma’am, yung mama nyo po.”
