Class ended early. Kara and Lena are waiting at the usual spot to meet up with Kara's friends for the break.

Kara is scrolling on her phone and not paying attention to what Lena is saying. She hasn't been for a few minutes already.

Lena gives Kara a light punch. 'AUWWW!' Kara whines.

'Come on, it didn't even hurt.'

'As I was saying: we have to answer our question now! Otherwise, we will get almost caught again at the check-in.'

'What's the question?' Kara sighs while rubbing the sore spot on her arm.

'Let's see. What is your opinion on social media?'

'I like it but I do think it kinda manipulates people. It makes them question themselves. But on the other hand, it can help people make new friends. In my opinion, it has two sides. A good and a bad side.' Kara rambles as Lena is looking at Kara with her green piercing eyes.

'That's very thought through. I also think it's like that.'

'Wait, I realize I never asked you for your Instagram.' Kara says while grabbing her phone.

'Oh, I don't have Insta.' Lena shrugs.

Kara gasps. 'You don't? You have to! Everyone has Instagram!'

'Well, I don't.'

'Okay, I know you do because you are not looking at me.' Kara states.

'Fine...' Lena sighs. 'I have Instagram but it's just not for friends.

'Does Sam know?'

'No, she doesn't. It's not for friends.'

'But I'm more than a friend. RIght?' Kara says sarcastically while smiling brightly.

Lena rolls her eyes. 'Okay, okay. You can have my Instagram. But you have to promise to never make fun of it or tell anyone else!'

Lena has no idea why she had just given Kara her Instagram. She swore to herself in her journal to NEVER do that.

Kara nods. 'I promise.'

Lena gives Kara the handle of her Instagram. Kara opens it and starts looking.

'There's nothing to make fun of here. It's just the Instagram of a book nerd. A bookstagram.'

Lena snickers. 'Yeah, it practically is.'

'What's this?' Kara says while showing her phone to Lena. On her phone is a picture Lena posted from her journal. It's a black and white drawing of a random girl.

'It's a drawing. I draw sometimes in my journal.'

'I see that. But wow! Holy crap Lee, this is amazing.'

Lena starts blushing. She is not used to compliments. Particularly from sweet and pretty girls. She also melts at the nickname. Lena never had that from anyone except Sam.

'Thank you. It took me 9 hours so I'm glad you like it!.'

'Wow, you have lots of patience.' Kara says.

'And what's your snapchat?' Kara asks.

'It's LenaKLuthor.'

'What does K stand for?' Kara asks.

'Kieran. My middle name.'

'Ooh okay. Well I added you so you can see my request already.' Kara says while smiling.

The bell rings as a sign that the break is starting. A few minutes later Nia arrives.

'Lena, can you take me with you to Ireland?' she sighs while dropping her head on the table.

Lena takes a look at Nia. 'Well, you are not that big. I think you can fit in my luggage.' She shrugs sarcastically.

'What happened?' Kara asks.

Nia sits up but then drops her head on the table again. 'I caaaaaaan't tell you. It's too embarrassing.'

'I'm the queen of embarrassment. I flew a paper airplane into a teacher's eye, exploded the microwave because I was trying to make hot chocolate and I was so frustrated my locker didn't open I broke it. Then I found out it wasn't my locker.' Kara says.

Lena snickers, trying not to burst out in laughter. Receiving looks from Kara.

'I'm trying to impress this boy named Brandon. That didn't succeed. When the teacher started checking the absence list and he said: Brandon. I was so focused on his name I said yes.'

'Maybe they didn't hear it.' Lena says trying to reassure Nia.

'No they did. Now they are teasing me with it and calling me Brenda.' Nia groans, her head still resting on the table.

'It will get better.' Kara and Lena say at the same time. Which earns them a look from Nia.

'Hello my friends.' Winn says as he jumps on a chair.

'How are the lovers?' He says when receiving a punch from Kara and a questioning look from Lena.

Lena starts thinking by herself what that was about.

'Where have you been mr.Happiness?' Kara asks.

'Oh, just at class.' Winn smiles while saying the word class.

'There's more going on! Spill the tea.'

'Nope. There isn't.' Winn says as popping the P.

'Fine, I will find out later.' Kara shrugs.

The group of friends chat the whole break. Lena is joining in the conversations like she has always been there. She really feels nice here now.

After check-in the school day is over for both Lena and Kara.

Kara and Lena arrive home. As always since it happened once Kara takes Lena's jacket. Lena thinks it's so cute Kara does this. Just like her eyes, dimples when she laughs and even her... STOP IT LENA she thinks by herself.

'Lena, Kara. Come into the living room.' Eliza calls out.

When they arrive Kara spots a big cookie jar on the table. 'SECRET SANTAAAAA!' she yells like a three year old.

'Lena do you want to join?' Eliza asks.

'Yes. I would like that very much.'

'Okay so we are all pulling one name out of the cookie jar. If you get yourself you have to tell. You buy a present for the person you get and you also make something with it. Example: If I have Kara I can make a painting of a plate of pancakes and give her something she wants. The budget is 50 dollars.' Eliza explains.

Lena nods understandingly.

According to Eliza, Lena has to go first because she's the guest.

Lena grabs the name Kara. She's very relieved she got Kara and she's excited about that.

After Lena, Alex grabs a piece of paper. It says Lena on it.

Kara grabs one too with the name Eliza.

And last but not least Eliza grabs Alex.

Everyone looks at each other with smirks on their faces.

Eliza grabs some money and hands it to Lena. 'Here, to buy your present.'

Lena tries to politely decline. 'Thanks Eliza, but that's okay.'

'No take it.' Eliza says.

Lena smiles on receiving the money. Planning on giving it back later. She has to figure out something to make for Kara. The girl she is starting to see as someone else besides a friend...
