quirk : slow-mo

the user can slow down time. they have advanced vison so they can take in the surrounding area. this quirk doesn't have much ability other than slowing things down. the user may not want to go out during the day time with this as their quirk, because they can get really dry eyes if they use their quirk in direct sunlight. the user should go out later in the evening near dark so they won't harm their eyes.

you were walking down a back alley near a shopping district that you often frequented. the back alley, wasn't bad at all. it had street vendors, little pop up shops, and tons of different things to pick and choose from. it was around six in the evening and the sun had already went down. the lights in the shopping alley had started to flicker one by one. all turning on within minutes.

you often came here just to walk around and get out of your apartment. you couldn't move around in the day time because of your quirk. if you did, you had to wear special glasses. unfortunately you lost them and you don't have enough money to get another pair of them.

out of the corner of your eye, you saw a guy who you'd never seen before in the shadow of a building. he had stunning, deep crystal, colored eyes for contrast to his dark hair. surprisingly you didn't judge his scars. he had noticed you staring at him and turned to look at you but you quickly recovered and looked away casually.

you kept following him but kept the distance. you noticed someone was following him in the shadows and had they had a shadow like quirk. surely they weren't planning something, right? you eyed the blue eyed guy and saw no weapon on him at all. the shadow had the outline of a gun on it's hip. slowly the shadow formed into a human person and they quickened their pace.

the blue haired guy hadn't noticed yet that he was being followed. with the shadow now exposed, you quickened your pace to keep up with them both. suddenly the shadow man pulled his gun and aimed at the blue eyes guy. time froze.

you ran in the direction of the blue eye guy and jumped behind him as the bullet flew silently through the air in the slowed time. you tried to focus on making sure the blue eyed man behind you didn't get hit, but time unfroze and the loud bang was heard only by you three.

the blue eyed man turned around quickly as the bullet flew straight through your stomach. the pain was almost unbearable. it hurt, so much, but you saved the man's life. you landed on the ground and the shadow man dropped his gun and disappeared back into his shadows. you were bleeding a lot and the blue eyed male stood there over you in a trance.

when you coughed up a tiny bit of blood and smiled to him, the trance broke and he took off his jacket. he helped you sit up a bit and tied the jacket around your stomach. soon, the vision you had went dark and you only heard the constant quick speed of footsteps and the movement of your body being carried.

dabi was baffled for sure. someone saved him from a sneak attack. no one has never done that. and when you smiled, god that smile kicked him back into reality. he put you on his back and quickly made his way back to the hideout. dabi wasn't going to let you die, sure he was a villain but he couldn't just leave you there to bleed out when you saved him.

the others looked at him weirdly when he came into the hideout. he went straight to his room and laid you on his bed. he has had to medic himself before so he wasn't concerned about that. but the fact you had lost so much blood, was the only thing that was a big problem. dabi has got to work removing the bullet from the wound and applying pressure to stop the bleeding enough, that way he could wrap your waist with bandage.

when he was done, he sat next the the bed in a chair. waiting for you to wake up. you had a cool washcloth on your forehead to regulate your body temperature. other than changing the washcloth every so often... it was a waiting game. dabi had gotten the bullet out, and made sure you didn't have an infection. he washed the blood off your face as well.

without realizing it, he had laid his head down on the bed and drifted into a sleep. hours had passed and dabi was still asleep. soon you stirred awake and tried to move but grunted in pain. dabi's head shot straight up and he looked at you. your eyes were watering but nothing too bad.

"why did you do what you did?" was the first question out of dabi's mouth. "not even a thank you?" you chuckled and tried to move again. the attempt was in vain again though. dabi gently made you lay back down. "aren't you scared of me?" dabi asked as he motioned at the scars that were on his face, neck, and arms. "i don't look at things like that." you smiled as dabi was taken aback.

"no one has ever said that to me." he casually said back, not trying to show he was actually appreciative. "what is your name?" you asked as he looked at you with the chilling blue eyes he had. "the name is dabi, what about you?" dabi asked as you thought for a moment. "the name is y/n. but dabi isn't your real name is it?" you eyed him and studied him.

"that's what i currently go by." the room fell silent. "one thing." dabi said as you looked to him. "i've told you my name but i'm a villain." you weren't shocked since he had the 'i-hate-society' type aura about him. "and this is your secret hideout that i cant say anything about?" you nodded as dabi just stared. "exactly." he nodded back. "i kind of figured." you snickered and the room fell silent again, but not like the awkward silence of earlier. it was peaceful.
