•this was written after the chapter 290 crap went down lolol, uh hello! this is my first normal chapter in awhile for todoroki. i've kind of been avoiding doing these because i don't have many ideas so this is basically all over the place but i hope it's cute since CHRISTMAS IS SOON YALL!!!! i will be releasing christmas stuff from this day (12/1/2020 as i'm writing this) until february of 2021 for sure, we all need christmas joy:) anyways eNJOY LOVES <3!!

it was getting closer to christmas by the day, even if it was basically still the beginning of decemeber! you love the holiday seasons and you were going to get your all classmates something for christmas. this year you weren't going home because you were still getting used to life at UA. mina, momo, and a few others decided to go shopping at the mall but you weren't going to go with them. you wanted the gifts to be surprises! plus, you really didn't know what to get them. with everything that has went down in the past few weeks, it really wasn't the time to be saying "hey what do you want for christmas by the way?" y'know?

sure it would be hard not knowing what to get them, but you thought you knew them well enough by now. you had already gotten the girls gifts and over half of the guys' as well. all you had left was bakugou, izuku, todoroki, tokoyami, and that was it. you knew where to get both izuku and tokoyami's gifts. that was almost as easy as cutting cake. tokoyami had mentioned about a nightmare before christmas mug and snow globe he had been wanting. the present for izuku was going to be a surprise for him of course. you had managed to order a limited edition all might poster, photobook, and shirt. so you had to go pick those up and try to get something for bakugou and todoroki.

the christmas music played throughout the mall as you went to the first destination. here is where you picked up izuku and tokoyami's gifts. on your way up to the store, you noticed there was a sale going on at a store bakugou had been raving about. it had all sorts of things. from kitchenette items, bedroom decor, to fragrances like perfume and cologne. bakugou often cooks so you decided to get him some new pots, pans, and spoons. the only person left to shop for was todoroki.

shoto never really discussed his hobbies or anything like that at all with the other students. and you couldn't really think of anything to get him, so it was a really bad situation. you ended up leaving the mall with all your gifts bought but shoto's. you really didn't want to give shoto nothing, but what could you give him? the only thing you knew he liked really well was soba.

"hey! that's a pretty good idea." you said to yourself as you bumped into someone taller than you. "what's a good idea y/n?" it was none other than the guy you were planning on what to give for christmas. "oh hey shoto." you rubbed your neck as he helped you with the bags in your hand. "christmas shopping i see." he gave a slight chuckle; looking at the pots, spoons, to the nightmare before christmas and all might themed items. "i see you got tokoyami, bakugou, and midoriya their gifts. who else do you need to shop for?" shoto walked by your side as you two went back to the dorms.

"well..." you sheepishly grinned. "i still have to buy a gift for you." you sighed as shoto chuckled. "i'm sorry! i didn't know what to get you, and i've been looking around for a week for two. i know it sounds bad-" shoto cut you off by patting your shoulder. "it's fine y/n. you don't have to get me anything." he gave a small smile and thought for a moment. "i have also yet to buy a gift for you as well. how about we go out to eat or something together and call it even?" you were shocked but agreed since you thought it was fair.
