5: Hanging with Valka

Yo.

We've just got some fun time with the first three dragon lovers in this chapter.

We were on our dragons now flying above some ice. Hiccup and I looked behind us to see the dragons from the ice cave following us. "Hey I-I thought we were going to eat," said Hiccup. I just tilted my head wondering what was about to happen."Oh, we are," said Valka. Cloudjumper turned around and Valka stopped us. Hiccup and I glanced at each other then at Valka. She looked down, so we did too and saw bubbles then the Alpha came out catching a bunch of fish in his mouth then spat them out for the other dragons to eat. We looked around us in awe as it seemed to be raining fish. Valka laughed.

Angel purred then flapped her wings a couple of times ready to go then looked at me. I nodded so she dove down catching a bunch of fish in her mouth with Toothless.

Now we were on top of some ice cap and Hiccup was showing his mom his map. "And then from Dragon Island we found this Archipelago..." We both looked to see Valka drawing in the snow with her staff. She had drawn his map way bigger on the snow I'm guessing. "There." I looked up at Valka. "Whoa." We heard a purr and looked to see Toothless trying to do the same thing that Valka did but with an icicle. Cloudjumper had looked at him wondering what he was doing. Toothless got the icicle stuck on his tongue and tried to shake it off but failed. Angel snorted as if saying 'I told you so' and I shook my head.

"Whoohoo!"

"Wheee!"

Valka laughed at the both of us. Now, we came up to this floating area and we were all able to hover in the air on our dragons. A bunch of the other dragons had joined us. Angel and Toothless was being silly making me laugh. Valka stood then slid off Cloudjumper's wing and climbed on a few of the other dragons wings all the way to Hiccup and I. When she got to us, she walked on Angel's wing then ruffled my hair then got on Toothless's wing and ruffled Hiccup's hair then slid off. We both leaned up to see where she went only for her to reappear on Cloudjumper.

We flew away from this and was just flying regularly in the sky now. I could feel the breeze against my face and it was calming in a way.

"Oh when I'm up here I don't even feel the cold I just feel..." trailed Valka. "Free," Hiccup and I finished for her. She looked at the both of us and we looked at her. She smiled at us. "This is what it is to be a dragon you two!" she said spreading her arms out wide. "It's all well and good to call yourself a dragon but, can you fly?!" He suddenly jumped off Toothless surprising us both. I gasped and looked with Valka to indeed see Hiccup with his flight suit invention flying. I smiled thinking how amazing Hiccup was. Angel glanced back at me then her and Cloudjumper looked at Toothless. He was really smug for a minute there then snapped out of it and went after Hiccup. Hiccup turned backwards throwing a thumbs up to me and I just shook my head.

Valka and I caught up to him and she looked amazed at him. Hiccup turned around only to see a rock coming. "Whoa!" Toothless flew and caught him crashing in a bunch of snow while Cloudjumper and Angel landed and we slid off them going over to him. Hiccup popped out of the snow making me jump. "Ha! Whoohoo! Yeah almost!" he said cheering. Toothless sneezed. "We just about had it that time!"

"You better be lucky Toothless was there to catch you," I said crossing my arms. He waved me off. "Aw, don't worry. I knew you had my back if not." Toothless eyes narrowed and he tripped Hiccup with his tail making me and Angel laugh. "Nice one Tooth." I pet him and he purred. Hiccup got up and shot a glare our way but I only smirked at him. Hiccup dusted snow off him while Valka went over to him chuckling. "Incredible," she said looking at his flight suit. "Well, not bad yourself," he said to her. I leaned on Angel watching them both happily. Hiccup and Valka looked at each other and she touched his cheek. He somewhat leaned into her touch. I looked away. "Ah! I can't handle all the cuteness!" I said. "What?-"

"Just ignore her, she's weird," said Hiccup. I glared at him and threw a snowball at him. He looked at me and I stuck my tongue out giggling. "I'm gonna get you back," he said to me. I tapped my chest. "Come at me bro," I said tough. He shook his head laughing at me. Valka laughed at us thinking that we were perfect friends for each other. She then sighed causing us both to stop and look at her. "All this time, you took after me and yet where was I?" she asked disappointed in herself. "I'm so sorry Hiccup, can we start over? Give me another chance?"

"I can teach you two everything that I've learned these past 20 years," said Valka. She walked over to Toothless and played with his back fins(?) causing a whole other row of fins to appear. "Wow." Toothless shook. "Now, he can make those tight turns," she stated. Toothless hopped over to Hiccup and I, I had relocated myself, while playing with his back fins. I pet him. "Did you know about this?" asked Hiccup. Toothless jumped around playing making Angel play too. "Every dragon has it's secrets and I'll show them all to you!" said Valka. "We'll unlock every mystery and find every species together." She put one hand on each of our shoulders standing in between us.

Toothless and Angel was playing when Angel tackled Toothless and Toothless jumped back up with a back of snow on him getting some on Cloudjumper. He dumped the snow back on him and we all laughed. "This gift we share is what bonds us. This is who you both are, who we are. We can change the world for all dragons. We will make a better, safer place!" said Valka. "Yeah!" I agreed. "That sounds amazing," said Hiccup. She hugged Hiccup then pulled me in as well making me shocked. Hiccup looked to me and smiled. We both relaxed in her touch and hugged back.

"Ah this is so great! Now you and us two can go talk to Drago!" said Hiccup. Cloudjumper came over to us. "What? There is no talking to Drago," she said. "But we have-!"

"No. We must protect our own. Come on, we should be heading back," she said walking off with Cloudjumper. Hiccup sighed out defeated while I just pet Angel feeling a bit down as well. We both looked at Toothless and he played with his fins again.

Well at least someone's happy.
