YOOOOO!!!

I like Stoick's and Valka's reunion. I was happy that the family was all together once again.

Enjoy.

Going back to the ice nest Valka talked to me. "You know Kaida you just seem really familiar. What's your last name?" she asked. The dragons landed and we slid off them. "Kelly," I responded. She gasped a bit. "Oh that's why you're so familiar. You're Akene's daughter. I can really see her in you. Her and I used to travel together."

I lit up and I could tell my eyes sparkled. "Really?!!! Do you know where I can find her?" I asked happily thinking I could see my mom. Valka's face went sad and so did mine not liking her mood change. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I'm sorry lass I really am," said Valka. I was confused. "What do you-!"

"Your mom died a year ago," she said. My mouth dropped and I could feel my heart shatter leaving an empty hole making my chest hurt and my eyes go dull.

She died.

My mom... died.

I wasn't there to protect her.

Tears formed in my eyes and I looked down causing my hair to fall over my eyes as I looked blankly at the ground. A few tears fell wetting the ground. "She told me to take care of you and give this to you if I ever saw you," said Valka. She handed me a letter and I took it. "Thanks," I said softly. "Kaida you-" He tried to touch me but I moved away from him.

"Not now Hiccup please..." I looked away as a few tears fell. Angel and Toothless whined and tried to touch me but I moved away from them as well. "No you two. Just..." I walked to the edge and sat down. "Leave me alone." I looked at the letter. "Come, let's leave her be," said Valka and I could hear her lead them away for a minute.

I shakily swallowed as my heart raced and I tried to control myself. I opened the letter slowly. I took a deep breath then began to read it.

Kaida coughed a bit on her sobs causing her to cover her mouth silencing her loud, pitiful cries. She got the necklace from the envelope, it was somewhat medium sized and a tiny bit heavy weight. She opened it to see the picture of them inside on one side and a little map of something on the other side. She closed it back. She hugged the necklace close to her body as she brought her knees to her chest crying. "Mommy."
