Prologue
I remember the most embarrassing day of my life. I was fourteen and my friends and I were going to gym class. We were playing volleyball with the boys (which I was forced to play with by my super annoying best friend, Lisa). My crush, Nick Sanders, was on my team. I was so nervous I thought I would faint right there and then. But I wanted to impress him so being the idiot I was I had to hit the ball. Only that didn’t work out so well. I ended up falling down and pulling Nick’s shorts down with me. It wasn’t my fault he was standing so close next to me! Everyone laughed after that incident and I became the class clown, always there to make people laugh. Nick despised me after that of course.
But this story isn’t about my fourteen year old self. No. It’s about the story of how I met this weird, strange, mysterious, handsome and irritating man and how he changed everything.
