Rene stood in the kitchen, making herself a coffee. She peered out the window and stared into the sky. She smiled and grabbed a black mug from the cupboard. When she turned around Jack was entering the room. She sent him a smile before taking a sip of her coffee "It's good to see you've sorted things with Randall" He mentioned. Rene nodded and peered into the living room. She waved her hand for Jack to come closer. He furrowed but obliged "Do you think I only have these feelings because of Alpha?" She asked. Jack let out a puff of air "The only way you'd know is if you think back to when you didn't have Alpha, did you have feelings for him then?" He asked. She thought back to when he approached her "Well, I always thought he was cute" She admitted. Jack waved his hand "So there was an attraction there, why would it change?" He reassured. Rene nodded "You're right!".

She trotted into the living room, Randall was throwing a small ball back and forward with Hamish. She sat down in front of Randall "What's going on?" She asked then kicked her feet up. Randall bounced the ball off the top of her head, then threw it back to Hamish "Oh nothing, just messing around" He informed then threw her a playful but cheeky smile. She shook her head "You're so lucky you're behind me. I would've kicked you square where the sun doesn't shine" She threatened jokingly. Randall caught the ball and leaned forward "Is that so?" He questioned. Rene sighed then placed the cup down on the table. She got up and approached Randall. He had a goofy smile on his face as Rene playfully hit him. He rammed into her and picked her up, he slung her over his shoulder "And he's got the ball!" He shouted. Hamish held his arms out "Throw it over!" He shouted.

"Don't you throw me!" Rene laughed. Lilith laughed and shook her head as she watched the mischief. Randall passed Rene to Hamish "Going for a touchdown!" Hamish shouted. Rene laughed as she was thrown on the sofa "Touchdown!" Both Randall and Hamish shouted. Randall looked at Rene "Are you still sure about fighting me?" He questioned. Rene sat up "If you're looking a proper fight, I will" She insisted. Randall raised an eyebrow "Is that so?" He asked. Hamish fixed himself "Any fighting happens outside" He directed. Randall pointed towards the bedrooms "Grab a robe, sweetheart" He teased. Rene confidently stood up and walked to her room, changed into a robe and went outside.

Randall and Rene both stood five metres in front of each other "You ready?" He asked. Rene raised an eyebrow "Bring it" She said with cockiness. They both removed their robes and turned into werewolves.

Lilith sat and watched as werewolves quickly passed the windows "Who do you think will win?" Lilith asked. Hamish sat down "Rene definitely" he decided quickly. Lilith thought then agreed with him.

Rene had the final blow on Randall, she had him pinned against the house. He turned into his normal self and as did she "Okay...fair play" He congratulated. Rene smirked "Don't ever turn me into a football...again" She warned with a laugh. Randall picked up both of their robes, he handed hers to her "I'm beginning to like you a lot" He admitted. Rene winked then laughed. They both entered the house "So who won?" Hamish questioned. Randall, without shame, pointed towards Rene "She's good for someone who's never got into a proper fight before" he informed. Rene furrowed and stared at him "How do you know I've never been in a fight?" She asked. Randall's eyes drifted away and he scratched the back of his neck. Rene laughed "He's right though" She confirmed.

Rene and Lilith wandered the basement, looking for different artefacts. Rene picked up a ruby necklace, which Lilith snatched off her immediately then threw into a netted basket "Don't touch that!" She warned. Rene stood still, her hand was still in the same position to when she held the necklace "Why?" She questioned. Lilith breathed out heavily "That necklace is cursed. Anyone who ever worn it has had shit luck to the point of death" she informed. Rene furrowed "But I only touched it" She replied. Lilith shook her head "Not taking any chances" She finalised before digging through a chest of books. Rene turned back around towards the bookshelf. She ran her fingers across the books and heard the voices again. She closed her eyes and divided the voices "Don't follow" Was the most distinctive sentences out of them all. She reopened her eyes then picked up the book. The book began to vibrate and glow "Rene! No!" Lilith shouted. Rene teleported into a diamond shape room, the walls were black marble, the floor was concrete, candles were mantled to the wall, and an alter sat directly in the middle. The alter was grey stone, with fangs sticking out and up from all four sides "Shit..." Rene said to herself as she continued to hold the book in her hand.

Lilith rushed up to the first floor "Guys!" She shouted. Jack trotted down the stairs casually "What's up?" He asked. Lilith sighed "Rene's just gone and opened the book of realms" She informed. Hamish's face dropped "You're lying?" Hamish hoped. Lilith shook her head "I am not!" She defended. Jack had a puzzled look upon his face "What's the book of realms?" He asked. Hamish looked towards Jack who now stood in the middle of the front entrance "It's a book which teleports you to whatever realm chapter you open it to" Hamish informed. Randall dipped his head over the bannister with an excited grin on his face "Are we talking about the book of realms?" He questioned. Lilith looked up "Not something we should be getting excited over, Randall!" Lilith stated. Randall trotted down the stairs "So... why was it mentioned?" He asked curiously. Lilith looked at Hamish, who looked at Jack. Lilith's eyes then landed on Jack to then he protested "Don't look at me! You were with her!" Jack stated as he pointed his finger at Lilith. Randall slowly looked at Lilith "With who?" He asked. The tone of his voice sounded like he knew it was Rene but didn't want to believe it. Lilith's eyes drifted to the side to avoid his burning stare "Lilith...who were you with?" He questioned again. Lilith slowly looked at Randall with nervous eyes "Rene..." She replied with a high pitched voice. Randall walked up to her "Where is she?" He said with his arms on his hips. Lilith scrunched up her face "In...the book" she replied nervously but with a question ending. Randall's eyes widened "What?!" He shouted. Hamish sighed and turned towards the fireplace. Lilith breathed heavily "She was being curious, and opened the book!" She defended. Hamish turned back around "She must've heard the voices" He replied.

Lilith and Randall looked at Hamish "But...I thought only..." Lilith started. "...Only people who were near the end of their lives can hear them...yes" Hamish finished. Randall furrowed "The voices?" He questioned. Lilith furrowed "No! The singing...yes Randall, the voices" She sarcastically replied. Randall flipped her off without looking at her. Jack waved his hands frantically "Woah! Are we not going to comment on the fact that Hamish said at the end of their life?" He retracted. Hamish sighed "When someone is near death, and you touch the book, the book will whisper. If they open the book it grants them a safe passage to another realm. To avoid death basically, but for a price" He informed. Randall turned white and sat on the staircase with his hands over his mouth "Is there any way we can get her out?" Randall asked whilst staring towards the floor. Lilith looked at Hamish "Is there?" She questioned. A voice from the stairs spoke up "There is one way..." it said.
