30 - The Final Showdown

Lilith, Jack, Rene and Grafton waited by the door in suspense. Hamish and Randall came through the door after circling the house "It's clear for now" Hamish informed. Rene bit her nails nervously "This waiting business is bullshit!" Jack shouted. Everyone shushed him, and he rolled his eyes "All I'm saying is...if we go to the house, we can wipe them out" He suggested. Rene looked at him "Do you want to be served on a silver platter?" She asked in a high pitched voice. Jack furrowed at her then threw his middle finger up at her.

Randall placed his hands out "Let's not fight each other before they arrive" He ordered. Rene folded her arms "Fine, as long as he obeys" She declared. Jack breathed in heavily to speak, but Lilith smacked him on the back of the head before anything was said. Randall quickly looked at Rene "Are you okay?" He asked. Rene rubbed her arms "I have a bad feeling" She informed. Everyone looked at her "That means they're close? Right?" Lilith asked. Hamish nodded quickly "We need backup" He insisted. Alyssa walked through the door "No need" She stated. Everyone looked outside and spotted the entire order, including Vera "This is gonna be good!" Grafton stated cheerfully.

"We've spotted no one since we've arrived" Vera noted. Gabrielle was by her side, and she grinned "You finally have the superiors" She stated. Rene rolled her eyes "Fuck" She muttered. As Rene rolled her eyes, they landed on the Padlock "Umm, guys..." She alerted. Everyone looked over. The Padlock revealed themselves from the trees, and they surrounded every field. Vera nodded slowly "Try not to die!" She encouraged. The knights wolfed up "Let's do this" Vera followed.

Padlock charged towards them. Jack flung three back into the woods at the same time. Hamish jumped into the air and broke into the ground with heavy force, sending a group of Padlock members flying. Lilith bit the heads off of a few; Vera spotted this and groaned in disgust. Rene and Grafton tagged teamed a whole bunch "They just never end!" Gabrielle shouted as more Padlock members revealed themselves.

Corey stood above the grounds, watching the battle "They seem to be taking them all out" Nessi informed. Corey sighed "Set fire to everything and everyone" He ordered. Nessi furrowed "Even our own?" She questioned. Corey turned around "I gave you an order!" He sternly stated. Nessi shook her head.
"Bickens...those our own people..." She replied. Corey paused "I don't care, kill everything" He finalised then walked off. Nessi looked back towards the battle and sighed.

Randall was being resrtained whilst on the ground. Rene looked back and saw that one of the members was about to execute him. Rene broke off from Grafton and charged towards the one with the huge blade. She tore him apart then helped Randall. Alyssa used nature to trap a few into the ground; vines grew from the floor and locked their feet. Alyssa grinned then was attacked. Jack panicked and fired towards her, he slapped the member off of her and picked her up. Alyssa nodded "Thank you" She appreciated as she dusted herself off.

Unexpectedly, Lilith charged into the woods. Rene spotted her and chased after her. Vera watched in shock "Where are they going?!" She yelled. Gabrielle turned around "Rene's chasing Lilith" She informed.

Rene spotted Lilith standing in front of Nessi, who had her crossbow pointed at her "I don't want to do this!" Nessi shouted. Rene transformed back into herself and approached "You don't have to! Join us in beating Corey!" She persuaded. Nessi's bottom lip trembled "I love him" She stated as her voice broke. Rene chuckled lightly "So did I, he was my brother" She reminded. Nessi lowered the crossbow "Now...let's finish this for good!" She encouraged.

Lilith, Rene and Nessi ran back towards the battlefield. Vera waved her hands "Finally!" She exclaimed before she waved her hand, which directed a bolt in another direction. Nessi was firing bolts towards the Padlock members. Gabrielle was back to back with Vera "So she's good now?" She questioned. Vera nodded "It seems so" She replied.
