14 - Finding Randall

They all watched nervously as Alyssa used the location spell "Okay, just like last time" She informed. Rene furrowed "Just like last time?" She repeated. Lilith nodded "Randall went missing last year" She informed. Rene nodded "I see" She simply finalised. Alyssa picked up the bowl and watched it carefully. Everyone followed her.

They ended up at a small cottage "Can everyone smell that?" Hamish asked. Lilith nodded and screwed up her face "Yeah...blood" She replied. Rene frowned "I hate that I don't have Alpha anymore, I can't sense anything anymore" She stated. They approached the porch "At least you're not dead" Lilith stated. Rene opened the door, the first thing that they saw was the open fire "He must still be here" Jack mentioned. Alyssa put the bowl on the floor and walked inside. Rene looked at a door at the corner of the room. She walked up and opened it. Stairs escalated down into a dark basement. Even though Rene didn't have Alpha, she knew Randall was down there "Guys..." She alerted. Hamish looked at the others "You guys stay up here...I'll go down with Rene" He ordered. Everyone agreed and looked around.

Hamish and Rene walked down the stairs and turned on the light. Randall sat tied to a chair, knocked out. Rene gasped and ran over to him, she placed her hands on his face and lifted his head "Wake up!" Rene whispered frantically. He was beaten up, blood ran down from multiple places "I'll untie him" Hamish insisted. Rene stepped back only to be grabbed by Grafton, his arm was trapped under her neck and his other hand was hidden behind his back. Hamish looked back "Let her go!" He shouted. Grafton had a crazy look in his eyes "Alpha won't contain! The only way is to kill who he really wants" He said with crazy ambition. Grafton unhid his left hand to reveal a dagger with a red ruby attached to the top. Hamish's eyes widened then dived towards him. The dagger flew across the room and landed in the corner. Rene scrambled for the dagger but Grafton grabbed her foot and pulled her back. Hamish picked him up but Grafton knocked him out with his elbow "Hamish!" She screamed. She looked up at the door "Guys!" She screamed for help. Grafton laughed "Don't bother, they can't hear you! The door is soundproof due to magic" He informed. Rene fearfully stared him in the eye and secretly reached for the dagger. When she grabbed it, Grafton noticed, he pulled it off her which made Rene back off towards the wall. He knelt and stared at her, he skimmed his fingers across her face "Such a pity...you are too beautiful to kill" He stated, he looked at the dagger then back at Rene "Oh well...nighty night" he finalised before raising the dagger.

He went to stab her but he was unable to move his arm. He looked back and Randall had untied himself "You're not gonna touch her" Randall stated calmly. He raised his fist and punched him hard, hard enough to knock him out. Hamish leaned up and rubbed his nose "Ouch..." He whispered. Rene leapt into Randall's arms. Randall buried his face into her neck. She pulled away and placed her hands on his face "Thank you" She whispered. Hamish waved his arms "I was here too!" He protested. Rene grinned and looked at him "Yeah...you were so much help being knocked out" She joked. Hamish laughed "Well, let's get this jerk into the house" He informed.

Everyone travelled back to the house. Jack and Lilith tied Grafton to the couch and Alyssa put a spell on the ropes so they don't break. Randall sat on the seat whilst Rene cleaned him up. She dipped the cloth into a bowl of warm water "You were brave to come down there to fight against him" Randall admired. Rene hopelessly smiled "Even without Alpha, I would hate for anything to happen to you" She simply stated. He smiled "I find you to be the coolest girl ever" He admitted. Rene grinned and continued to wipe his wounds "Well...thank you from preventing me from going into some sort of crystal" She thanked.

Grafton woke up "That was a thrill!" He shouted. Rene looked back and groaned "There goes peace" She stated then put the cloth down. He looked up "look at you two!" She exclaimed towards Rene and Randall. Rene rolled her eyes and faced Randall. Grafton awed "Fight yet? I predict three today!" He followed. Randall looked at Rene and gave her a frustrated look. She stood up and Randall followed "Awww, please keep me company!" Grafton cried. Randall flipped him off before they walked into the kitchen. Lilith, Hamish, Alyssa and Jack were already there. Rene approached "What do we do with him?" She questioned. Jack looked at Hamish "I say we wait for him to die" He suggested. Lilith raised her finger "Or! We can kill him? Simple!" She suggested. Rene pointed at Lilith "For once I'm going with Lilith" She agreed. Lilith waved her hand "Thank you!".

"What if we use the dagger?" Randall put. Everyone looked at him "Grafton explained what it does...the ruby at the top holds souls of anyone who was stabbed by it. It acts like hell for anyone in there" He explained. Everyone nodded "Sounds like a plan...who's gonna do it?" Hamish asked. Jack sniggered "I vote Kilith" He joked. Lilith shrugged "Fair" She replied. She put out her hand "The knife please" She asked. Hamish handed her the knife and Lilith went off.

Rene sat in her room in the house and scrolled through her phone. A knock was heard "Come in" She allowed. Randall entered "He's back" He exclaimed excitedly. Rene bounced up and ran down the stairs, everyone looked at her with huge grins "Go get her!" Hamish told. She ran into the basement and approached the locker. It began to rumble and move. She opened the lid and Alpha jumped out at her. She wrapped herself around her and she turned.

She woke up outside of the garden. Lilith approached her with her dressing-gown. Rene smiled and rubbed her hands through her hair "Holy shit!" She shouted happily. Rene felt like herself "Welcome back!" Lilith smiled. Rene trotted into the house with glee "I feel great!" She exclaimed to Randall. Randall smiled and pulled her into a hug "I think drinks are in order?" Randall suggested. Everyone cheered in agreement "Let me go get ready!" Rene shouted then ran up to her room. She trotted back down "Let's go!" Jack stated as he ran out of the door.
