"Yeah?" I asked, throwing a piece of popcorn at Jake's face as he made a stupid joke about my hair.

"Yes, you look like a little lion." he laughed, picking a chip off his plate to throw it at me.

"A lion that could break your hand." I smiled adoringly.

He shook his head, turning around to the food table to get more. What a fat ass, still eating my food after all this time. Well more like the gangs food since it's the house. We decided to have a chill day, Ryder and I choosing to spend it here. Around people we love and that love us.

But, in reality we had our team of hackers upstairs doing everything they could to find Luca. We didn't want to miss out on anything. So we stayed here so we could get any new information they found.

Plus lots of protection for Lily, who was currently being held by Melissa and Nikki in the corner of the room. Oliver fawning over her already since he hadn't had the chance to meet her yet. Arron and Mia were also next to them, Arron holding her hand. I really was rooting for them, they were so cute and I felt such chemistry between them when I was near.

As I looked back to Jake with a smile, I felt a heated gaze on the side of my face. When I turned my head in that direction, Ryder's dark gaze was set on me. He made a come here motion with his finger which sent butterflies in my stomach. I told Jake I'd be back and made my way over to him. He tugged me into his chest, brushing some hair behind my ear.

"Can I talk to you?" he asked.

"Of course." he grabbed my hand and led me upstairs.

When we entered our room, he went to the bed and sat down, pulling me with him. I placed my hands on his shoulders to steady myself as I straddled him. My arms rested around his neck and his rested perfectly on my hips.

"Is this the talk?" I laughed a bit, leaning in to kiss his neck.

"Mmh, as much as I want you to continue that, no, this isn't the talk." he said, making me lean away.

"I'm sorry, what's wrong?" I asked, giving him all of my attention.

"Do you remember how I got mad because, of Jake looking at you in that way?" he questioned, drawing circles into my hips.

I nodded my head, "Well." he sighed, "I guess I was just scared."

My eyebrows scrunched together, "What do you mean?"

"I mean, do you love me the same as you did five years ago?" he asked, I was taken aback by it.

I sighed, grasping the back of his neck, "Ryder, I love you more than I ever did, five years ago." I answered honestly as we locked eyes intensely.
