Chapter five

Katniss POV

After a while of driving Peeta turns on the radio. It starts playing "Shake it off" from Taylor Swift.
Peeta immediatly starts singing and it's so ridiculous. I dont know if he is trying to make fun of the song or he's just a crappy singer. Anyway it's impossible not to laugh
"What are you laughing at Kitty, join me" with that he starts dancing and throwing his hands up in the air. The car starts to loose control
"EYES ON THE ROAD" is all Im able to say.
"Relax Kitty i've got all under control" this comment annoyed me for some reason.
"Why dont you let me drive. You must be tired" I say.
"Yeah lets switch." Then he pulls over.

I have to admit that I feel more relaxed to be driving cause Peeta is really not the best driver and having a car accident isn't in my list.

"How about we go to Chicago or something?" Peeta asks me. I really haven't thought about that but it's better if I dont want to be found by the police so it would be good to be always in a different place. I try to think of another distination to visit.
"You know I always wanted to go to New York"
"That's a really good idea Katniss, we could have a tour around America. We would visit every litle city for as long as we wanted."
"That is an adventure."
"The perks of running away. It's a great adventure."
"Running away?" Peeta couldn't possible know that I've escaped jail could he?
"Yeah running away from our old lives, I guess" he says relaxed
"Oh, ok."I say relieved "But we got a few problems How will we get the money?"
"I don't know." Peeta think for a while "You know, I've already been told that I'm pretty good at painting. I have my supplies in the trunk, I sell my paintings. They wouldn't worth a lot but it's better than nothing."
"Yeah I think that'd cover it. Now I'm curious, you'll have to painting me something."
"With pleasure" than he gives me his cute smile and of course, I blush. He just has this effect on me. I think I might have a tiny crush on him. I sure hope not. Right now I have a lot in my game.
