The sunlight streams through the car window and hits my face. I open my eyes to face the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen.
"Morning" he says huskily. I smile.
"Where do you wanna go today" I ask.
"Anywhere, as long as I'm with you."
I blush at his comment.
"Let's go to Times Square?"
"Sounds fun. I could sell a few paintings, you know, so that we dont have to sleep in the car all the time"
"I dont mind sleeping in the car" I say as I think of how comfortable I was snuggled in his chest.
"If you dont mind then I don't mind." I says cheekily. I giggle, mostly because how hot he is. I've never been this girlish but there's something about him that brinca this while new side of me, and I kinda like it.
"You're adoroble" he says pinching my cheeks. I pinch his cheeks to.
We keep pinching each others cheeks until we notice our surroundings. There's a woman outside of the car looking at is with an eyebrow raised. This makes is both hurts out laughing. The woman rolls her eyes and keeps walking.
"Comon let's go" Peeta says starting the car.
I turn on the rádio and it starts playing 'Break Free' by Arianna Grande. I love this song so I start singing it:

'If you want it, take it
I should've said it before
Tried to hide it, fake it
I can't pretend anymore
Uh, I only wanna die alive
Never by the hands of a broken heart
Uh, don't wanna hear you lie tonight
Now that I've become who I really am
This is the part when I say I don't want ya
I'm stronger than I've been before
This is the part when I break free
'Cause I can't resist it no more
This is the part when I say I don't want ya
I'm stronger than I've been before
This is the part when I break free

You were better, deeper
I was under your spell
Like a deadly fever (yeah, babe)
On the highway to hell
Uh, I only wanna die alive
Never by the hands of a broken heart
Uh, don't wanna hear you lie tonight
Now that I've become who I really am
This is the part when I say I don't want ya

'Cause I can't resist it no more
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Uh, uh, uh
Thought on your body
I came alive
It was lethal
It was fatal
In my dreams it felt so right
But I woke up everytime
Oh, baby
This is the part when I say I don't want ya
I'm stronger than I've been before
This is the part when I break free
'Cause I can't resist it no more

When I look at Peeta he is staring at me dumbfounded.
"What?" I snap at him.
"Nothing. You're just an Amazing singer."
"No, I'm not" I blush. I've already been told before that I was a good singer but I never thouthg so. Plus I barely sing in public since my father's death. It remind me of him, how he used to tugg me to bed. He had such a clear voice.
"Yes, Katniss you are."
"I'm nothing compared to my father. He was a great singer, not me."
"Was he so good?" Peeta asks curiously.
I smile as I think about the moments I had with my father when he used to sing to me. "He had the most powerful and clear voice ever. When he sang all the birds shut to ear him. With his voice he could put anyone crying and laughing. The times he used to sing to me are the best memories I have from my whole life."
"Do you miss him?" He asks.
"I do." My expression saddens. "I really do"
"Yeah, sometimes I miss the times when I was small to. You know. I remember from time to time my dad sneaking from his job at the bakery, when my mom wasn't looking, and reading me a storie to sleep. Of course with the time passing I started reading on my own, everyday a litle more, until I finished the whole book. After that not even reading I could, I started working at the bakery for longer and I didn't have time."
"Oh" is all I can say. Always that Peeta talks about his childhood that's how I react. My mouth just gets dry. I'm not sure if Peeta's story was supposed to be happy or depressing.
The rest of the ride goes on silently. I'm looking through the windows, admitindo the tall buildings that define New York's silhouette. I love the way that the skyscrappers raise, higher than any other building, on top of the world. Sometimes I wish I could fly higher than the skyscrappers and be on top of the world, anything could reach me.
"Okay, where here" Peeta says.
We both get out of the car. "This way" He points to the left with his finger.
"Okay lets go"
We walk with each other, hand in hand, partly because the cores is huge, and we dont want to loose each other but also because it feels right.
We get lost um the maze of buildings and constructions, but after a few time wondering around we find Times Square.
Both me and Peeta gasp.
"This is huge" Peeta says looking around.
"It really is" I say.
Than Peeta picks me up and spinning us around. We probably look like small chilrem righ now but I couldn't care less. When I'm with Peeta, there's nothing else around us. Just me and him.
"This is unbeliebable!" I gasp twirling around, occasiounally bumping into someone.
We keep junping up and down and Peeta eventually films us with is camera.
After a few time of botheringbpeople and following them around we also sell some paintings.
"We did pretty good with selins the paintings. We made some good money, enough to go to Starbucks"
"I never imagined someone actually paying for my art"
"Peeta, you're a natural. You really have loads of talent at painting. No wonder people actually bought the paintings" I point out.
"Thanks. But it just feels weird, I've always thought I was useless and I couldn't do anything right." I am horrified by Peeta's comment. Eho told him that? Why would he say that? He is just perfection and doesn't see it.
"I cant believe you're saying that, Peeta. You're are anything but useless. Cant you see that? Everything about you his so damn amazing, You're so talented and great. The world needs more people like you, Peeta Mellark."
He just gives me a sad smile. He still doesn't believe me. "lets go to Starbucks" Peera says avoiding the topic.
And we go to Starbucks together, hand in hand.
