Cirie wasn't sure what to make of Giselle. Giselle had always had friends and people got on with her - mainly because she was kind to pretty much everyone she met, however she never seemed to want anything. Giselle seemed quite benevolent, which Cirie thought was kind of suspicious - no one was that kind.

'I wonder where everyone is.' Giselle said.

Cirie shrugged. 'Anyone's guess...'

'Could be on holiday?' Giselle suggested.

'Everyone?' She asked. 'At the same time?'

'Perhaps not.' Giselle snickered.

Cirie smiled at this, and she found herself enjoying Giselle's company.

'W-What is that?' Jocelyn exclaimed.

The four glanced up in  awe at a giant alter in front of them. There were two humanoid statues either side of the centre with their arms stretched out. A strange marking was on the centre of the ground. It seemed to be slightly circular with different symbols around it.

'What's that marking?' Ellis asked, his usually happy smile replaced with a concerned frown.

Giselle knelt down. 'I recognise it. It seems... familiar?'

'Purgatory.' Cirie stated.

'What?' Giselle asked.

'That symbol.' Cirie pointed. 'That's the sign for purgatory.'

Wanting to start a conversation with Michelle, Daniel was doubting himself. He couldn't think of any subject to start though, so he decided it would be best to just to leave it, and hope he hadn't screwed things up too badly.

Silas strutted ahead of the group, keeping perfect form. Seeing something strange in the distance he found himself staring at a giant lake. He was going to ignore it when he saw a small boat with two paddles in the water by the land.

'Guys.' He called out.

The three looked over at him.

'Fancy a boat ride?' He asked.

Michelle rolled her eyes but found herself tagging along anyway. She sat opposite Silas at the ends of the little rafts, and Anuja and Daniel pulled the short straws as they now had to row. They both silently got on and did so, however and the four remained quiet as they got to the centre.

Michelle glanced out to the waves and she smiled slightly. It was soothing.
