Brooklyn P.O.V.
This is the real thing sweetheart, I don't think I could ever get tired of you. Dallas's voice echos in my ears. He stands there with his arms wrapped around me and my heard laying his chest, "Sweetheart" Dallas whispers after a few minutes, "Yes?" I whispers back, "Are you okay?" he says and pushes my shoulders to look at my eyes, "Yeah, I'm okay."
Dallas smiles at me and nods before pulling me back to his chest.
Eventually Dallas and I slide into his bed his arm around and me on his chest, like always; I fall asleep to the rhythmic sound of Dallas's heartbeat. I slowly wake up to the sound of whispering, I quickly realize it's Dallas and Dawson, I decide to keep my eyes closed as I hear Dawson talk "I've never seen you so happy or like someone this much" he says quietly "I've never been this happy or like someone this much" he replies also keeping his voice down.
After a minute I hear Dallas say, "She came over at Three A.M. Daw" Dallas says quietly, "Three A.M.? What was she doing here that late?" he whispers and I feel Dallas's hand begin to twirl a piece of my hair "She was worried about us" he says with a sigh, "What could she possibly be worried about" "Wondering if we were the real deal or if I was just playing with her" he says, the sadness is evident is obvious in his voice as he speaks.
"She was worrying about that?"
"Yeah, she thought I'd get bored of her"
"I don't see that ever happening"
"Neither do I" he says and kisses my forehead, my heart warms at his words as he speaks softly. I slowly open my eyes, "Good morning Sleeping Beauty" I hear Dallas say, "Good morning" I say looking up at Dallas "I'll leave you two lovebirds alone" I turn my head and give Dawson a smile as he walks off before looking back at Dallas, "How did you sleep?" "Good, what time is it?" I ask "About One" he says casually.
I sit up and look back at him, "How did we sleep in so late?"
"You slept that late I woke up about a hour ago, you looked comfortable so I didn't want to move and risk waking you up" he says and leans up to give me a kiss but I stop him ,"Morning breath." I state simply, "Can we get up then so I can kiss you?" he asks and I nod.
I stay at Dallas's house for a little bit until I decide to return home. Once I get home I start to work on wrapping Christmas's present because Christmas is in almost a week. After I finish that I tidy up the house and wash the small amount of dishes.
Everything feels okay now I don't feel worried about Dallas and I, however, I still need to tell my mom we're together i'm sure she does based on the fact that she gave me the day off school when I visited Dallas.
The day seems to go by slowly, mainly because I don't have any homework to do nor, overthinking to do about Dallas and I. His words This is the real thing sweetheart, I don't think I could ever get tired of you. This is the real thing sweetheart, I don't think I could ever get tired of you. ring over and over in my head especially This. Is. The. Real. Thing. Sweetheart. something about how he said those words make my heart flutter. He sounded so sure. So positive.I feel so happy as happier then before one thought lingers however, has he told his friends that we're together?
