3rd person POV:
Riley got up and knew she could go back to regular classes tomorrow. Knowing she would be able to go and see all her friends again was good for her. Riley went into the common room and wanted to make herself some tea to start her day.
She couldn't decide between rose or lavender, then she remembered the amoretia. Riley blushed to herself a little and picked rose. While she was waiting for the tea to steep and cool down, she picked out a book for the day. Riley picked up The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. It was one of her favorites that her mother had read to her.
Once she had drank all her tea and was two chapters into the book, Draco walked into the room, looking a little disheveled. He was wearing his Slytherin tie, black pants and a white dress shirt. But she was only wearing a pink sweater with a gray plaid skirt.
Today is the day she gets to go and explore the Slytherin house for real this time and she couldn't wait. She almost tried to leave early in the morning but then remembered that there would still be people in there. She would have to be patient and wait until classes started. Which proved to be harder than she thought because time seemed to slow down everytime she thought about going.
But for breakfast Riley had a muffin and a few fried sausages. Draco had a little bit of everything and seemed to be not too picky when it came to food. That was something she didn't expect from a rich person. From her experience at least, it seemed rich people only like certain types of food, quite expensive ones, but she wasn't exactly poor either. But she thought about how rude it is to judge people.
As they waited she watched a little of a show she liked on the tv she said she needed to have. And since she had not much else do while being alone in the house, they gave it to her. Riley watched for about an hour until Draco turned it off.
"Hey! Why did you do that?" she huffed crossing her arms. She stepped towards him, glaring him down.
"Because I wanted to," he snickered. Right after he spoke, Draco picked her up and threw her over his shoulder casually, like he does this all the time. This was knew to her but it seemed only natural to him. She was sure that he'd done this before, but he hadn't. At least not to her. Then she remembered that he probably had a girlfriend or something, Riley thought about how lucky that girl would be. Pushing these miserable thoughts out of her head, she focused on the task at hand.
"Put me down!! You're crazy!" she shouted until he threw her on the couch. She straightened her clothes and decided she was not going to talk to him. She grabbed her book and opened it, jumping right back into her reading. But once she starts reading it's hard to get her attention you see.
You may think that her reading can be interrupted easily but that is not the case with Riley. No one could interupts her until she's ready, she is too engrossed into the book. When she finishes her chapter, she decides to read a bit more.
