As per our conversation, I reach home and see Alyan and Arish doing some decorations which amaze me.
I know Alyan is a carefree guy doing some sort of silly stuff for fun and Arish joining him is also fine. But why are Ross and other servants listening to him? They're all into some weird plannings that I'm beyond their notice.
"What are y'all doing? Did my mansion turned into a circus show now?", I ask seriously.
"Good evening, ma'am. Actually we're..", they look at Alyan for the answer.
Alyan takes my purse and keeps it on the couch while eagerly guiding me to the leather couch.
"Oh, miss haughty you see, we're planning for aunty's birthday which basically should be done by you. But I've already managed these. So all you need to do is help us keep it a secret", he says to me in a breath.
"Are you serious? You're a newcomer I don't blame you but what about the rest of you? Don't you guys know mom doesn't like to celebrate her birthday?" I look stern and when Ross meet my gaze, she looks down.
"Izzah, stop giving looks to them. They're just helping me. It's me who wanted to do it, I knew she doesn't celebrate her birthday but there's a first time for everything when I'm involved. Now don't lose your temper okay?"
Just at that moment, my phone screen flashes mom's number, "she ain't at home?", I ask.
"No, Andrew went with her", Alyan says. But where?
"Izzy, please. Don't tell mommy about it. She's at the neighborhood. This is going to spoil our hard work", Arish requests me with folded hands.
I receive her call and she asks me to check if Arish is doing any mischievous things or not. I glare at Alyan once.
"If you still want to behave cold, I think I've no other choice than telling them how you seduced me last night. Of course you don't want your servants to know their master's little secret, do you?", Alyan whispers with his dirty smirk.
"Don't you dare! I didn't seduce you", I glare at him with cold eyes.
"Try me", bloody jerk is blackmailing me!!
"I'm listening to you only for this time", I say to him before taking the phone near my ear.
"First time not the last", he mumbles.
"No mom. Don't worry. I'm checking on both of them. You take your time", after she ends up the call Arish chuckles happily saying, "Thanks Izzy, you'll see mommy's going to be surprised"
I tell them to keep it simple as mom won't like childish balloons and all. Still, Alyan brings the fairy lights and birthday caps. Arish goes inside to change. As things are planned, I order the food and drinks while Alyan orders the cake. Ross and others are busy in serving. Alyan heads inside for receiving a call while I'm left with the lighting.
I place the ladder against the wall and climb it to decorate the wall.
