I wake up in this elegant and decorative room.

It's like you can lie down anywhere in the room in complete relaxation and feel the pulse of the world. It's beautiful because it's so subtle and yet so rich, so calm and unassuming.

Ugh! My eyes are totally swollen. Must be the nightmare again.

I look into the mirror as I rub my eyes.

I go to the kitchen trying to find some ice to put over my swollen eyes.

And... what's this smell?

Wondering if I'm still dreaming, I quickly press the ice bag onto my eye.

Eeek, cold!!

This certainly feels too real for a dream.

Did the maids cook this? If yes then where are they? Why don't they come in front of me? As if I'm someone dangerous. The only time I interact with one of them when she opened the front door for me the very first day.

Then I hear someone walking down the stairs.
It's Alyan. I remember his piano lesson from last night. How his hands guided mine!!

"Oh...", My face must've taken the color of beetroot at this point.

We stand still, looking at each other awkwardly.

Then he finally speaks, "What's that in your hand?"

"Huh, oh this? My eyes were all swollen this morning

Then he asks worriedly, gently putting his hand over my face, "Did you...cry?"

"Huh? H-hey, wait-", but strangely I can't push his hand away as if my brain is not in control of my body.
