Chapter 36

I open my eyes a white light hit my pupil . Hell or Heaven where am I ? Argh.....what is this white light beaming at my face . Then I heard someone saying" Doctor the is patient is awaken and responding to the treatment ". Yippee! that means I am still alive , I will see and hug mom and Chirag again. Argh.....one more needle for me as doctor is injecting it in my right fore arm. Now my vision got better and my eyes got adjusted to the light and contrast of the room.

Then I realised I was lying in a typical emergency room (ER) with dark surroundings and only a huge white light above the table on which I was lying . Oh this is the  white light which was  irritating my eyes when I first opened  my eyes .

Soon I was taken to a ward room on a stretcher . Argh....I hope everything is fine with me cause I am just hating the fact of  being dragged on a stretcher . Within a few minutes , I was in a room with blue walls and grey curtains , leather sofas . A flower vase was present at the side table . This room had a tv ,ac and a mini fridge .I must say this is  quite a  luxurious room and can be  called  as a  hotel room inside a  hospital. I guess these are the perks of being the daughter of the owner of a private hospital .

As I was looking at my lavish hospital room my mom came inside . She looked tired and a frenzy was covering her face as she came near me . I assured my mom that I am fine now . My mom sat near me and she caressed my forehead lovingly .She wiped her tears and said " You scared me to death Diya , my daughter you are my everything" . I looked at my Mom and said " Mom I was so scared , I thought I would die ". My mom's eyes got wet again and she said  "Diya don't you dare talk rubbish .You are not going anywhere , you are not going to die" . I then said "Mom what happened to me . Did I again got some panic attack ? Mom I was so scared , I was not able to breath ". Mom took a deep breath and said  "Diya you had suffered Severe Panic attack which made you breathless . Your heart beats were quite rapid due to which you had high Blood Pressure due to which your other vitals got disturbed that is why doctor induced you in a artificial coma for few hours , then you were treated with medicines which controlled all your vitals . Now you are perfectly fine . Diya your Panic Attacks are not life threatening at all , you just need to take care of yourself ".

I nodded my head in response and I said " Mom today I troubled you a lot , I am sorry ". Mom said to me   "My child you will never be a trouble to me no matter what . I am really sorry that I could never take a stand for you against your father what is why you are now getting Panic attacks . But understand me Diya that I am not only your mother but I am also a wife which imposes restrictions on me to follow your Dad's instructions and wishes ". Before I could say something in reply to my mom , Cherry and Taniya came to see me .

My mom went out to give us some space so that I could talk to my friends . After checking on my health  both my friends gave me my favourite flowers and greetings . I thanked them happily . Cherry and Taniya asked me not worry about Ruchi at all as they fixed her .I raised my brows in curiosity and suspicion.

Cherry chuckled while Taniya started speaking " After you were taken to hospital we thought to take revenge from Ruchi who caused you a second panic attack ". I was amused listening to it . Then Taniya continued telling me the revenge story  saying " We went to Ruchi's house on pretext of borrowing coaching biology notes . Ruchi's  mom don't know us so she thought us to be  Ruchi's friends and she let us inside the house . Ruchi was astonished to us there . Before Ruchi could say something Cherry spoke in sugar coated words " Aunty we are good friends of Ruchi as we share the same school and coaching . I and Taniya missed some coaching classes due to fever so, thought to borrow those notes for photocopy . Ruchi can you please lend me those notes for photocopy". Ruchi's mom  was impressed by extra sweet words of Cherry and she said " Ruchi take your friends to your room and lend them the notes". Ruchi was about to utter something  when Taniya intervened and said " Let's go to your room . Lend us the notes . So, that we can photocopy them quickly .So , that  Ruchi can also study for the exam without any problem as the notes which we are borrowing are quite important topics for the upcoming exam".
