Chapter III

Dear diary,
Life is going slow, the days I spend with my brothers, Enzo, Care, Matt and Tyler, are like days spent alone. I feel exactly nothing inside of me. Practically I've been dead for so long, but I died that day.
To be honest, I've been trying to pick up the pieces. I've evolved a bit, I mean I faked a smile, put on makeup and clothes and went out. I blew candles, (the forever 18 and below it 151. I'm 169 years old, woohoo!) I enjoyed the birthday song, I unwrapped presents...
Never the less, this guy, back in the woods showed up, he was pretty charming, I can't lie, but I've missed that attention I got from him...

Kate simply closed the blue velvet booklet, put the pen on top of it and left it on the nightstand.

"Night..."-she mumbled and covered herself with a blanket.

"Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey."-the covers seemed to fly off Kate.

"Caroline..."-she glared at her.

"C'mon, get up, it's a beautiful day, the sun is out and shinning and-"

Kate rolled her eyes and stood up.

"Greetings Tyler."

"Kate you seem as if you've come out of Star Wars..."

"Because that's what every girl wants to hear when she gets up, or shall I say awaken, in the morning. Thank you Matt."-she said sarcastically.

"We're just trying to be nice to our friend, who we love, nothing more."-Caroline smiled.

"Yeah Kate, I mean look at what we've been through here..."-Matt started talking.-"Look at the odds of things."

"We haven't been together in a long while and now we have reunited."-Tyler smiled.

A smile had finally appeared on Kate's face. She stepped forward to her friends and combined them in a group hug.

"I love you guys too."-she said, as they hugged her back.-"I really do appreciate you doing this over and over again till it works."

"Doing...?"

"Trying to make me feel better and to make it up to me. I really am grateful."

"What does this mean?"-Caroline grinned.

"It means that you should get out of my room so that I could get dressed and later we're goint to the Grill and have fun for the good old days."

All three of them widened their eyes and grinned.

"Matt, Care, I think we're getting our old Kate back."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."'Matt smiled.

"How did this suddenly happen?"

"I don't know... I just have this feeling that I should get out more often..."-she paused.-"I'm not getting Kol back anyway."

The three of them left the room and Kate was left to get ready.

~The night before~

"Are you seriously going to leave me here alone?"

Kate looked at the boy she had just met.

She chuckled confused.-"Well what am I supposed to do?"

"Make me some company?"

She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head.-"I don't even know you..."

"You can get to know me."-he smirked.-"C'mon one walk through the woods won't kill you."
