Fade's P.O.V
As they leave I go to my desk to see the picture moved and I pick it up,it's me,Drift and Y/N when we were kids and her dad took us in,we were like brothers and sister but we were only friends and I cant belive I didn't recognise her the first time I saw her.I sit there for a while staring at the photo while memories pop into my head. 'Fade~' I jump off my seat looking around taking out my gun "Who's there?!" 'Oh Fade I'm not out there..I'm in here' I dont recall the voice as I put my gun away.
'Fade,I want you to meet by the old lake at dusk,remember the time they lived no longer to speak the tail of an oath you spoke' I hear nothing after that "Are you serious?!,A fucking riddle ?!" I sit down as minutes turn into hours when soon the sun goes down and I sigh "I guess I going to every lake in the map" I grab the door handle when something is flashed before my eyes I fall back looking at it realising what it was. "That lake..." I say remembering.
I teleport to the lake looking around "Ah Fade glad you could make it" "I wish I didn't honestly , why did you want to see me all of a sudden?" "Oh you dont remember, The oath you spoke hm?" I look down.."I remember" "and you broke it,now you know the consequences Fade" I kneeled down putting my hand behind my back smirking under my mask "Kill him" I look up at him and teleport out of their way and move to another spot still kneeling "Fade dont make this hard" I stand up "oh I'm not making this hard, I'm making it fun" I stomp my foot on the ground as purple Crystal's come from the floor killing the oath keepers trying to kill him "Honestly,you think you can kill me?" He sighs putting up his hand closing it into a fist,the oaths keeps back down and disappear "Fair enough Fade" "can we just pretend I never took the oath" "Fade how could I do that,you said you would never see her again after wiping half her memory and changing it to make her life seem easier,you took the oath to never see Y/N again, why didnt you stick to it" "I didnt know it was her...it's only when I got into her head I realised that those memories weren't all hers that some were fake..." "the ones you created for her to keep her safe.." I nod
Midas' P.O.V
Azara help me bring Y/N home,we lay her down and she falls asleep,I put Azara to bed and she falls asleep I walk out when I hear 'Midas we need to talk' "Fade what happened to you not being in my head anymore?" 'Midas..' "shit you dont sound good,this is important huh?, right where am I meeting you?" 'A river by Lazy Lake' "alright"
I head to Lazy Lake and find Fade standing at the bridge and I walk over " well what's wrong?" "I-.." "let me explain" "woah who are?!" I take out my gun aiming at him" "I'm the oath keeper or if name wise my name is Desmond" I raise an eyebrow "anyway Please,Desmond can you explain to Midas what is going on?" He nods "Wait before you say anything,Midas please don't get made and kill me,you'll understand my reasoning" I nod.
