"Then let it be known... blood must not have blood."
---
We're staying in Polis with Lexa and Clarke. I've been given a small room on the floor just below the commander's, and Jasper and I have been sharing it.
It's been just over a week, making today - if I'm right - the fifteenth of February. Things have been perfectly and exceptionally peaceful so far, but I have to remind myself that peace is not within the nature of this show. This is a post apocalyptic drama, after all.
By now, Raven's taken the key. She did that at the end of Hakeldama, and I know the episode Bitter Harvest is soon to begin. Thank God I had the sense to check the Fan Wiki for dates before I got sucked into this.
Being inside The 100 is definitely an experience I never quite imagined having, but here I am, living within the walls of the capital, Jasper by my side. We've officially been together for around five months now, which in and of itself is unreal. I've been in the show for about six months, no wonder I can't remember any exact details anymore.
A few dates stand out to me, like today being the fifteenth of February, and marking the beginning of the sixth episode in season three.
"What's wrong, my love?" Jasper hums, gently playing with my hair. We're lying in bed, after another night without the faintest sign of sleep, terrors haunting even just the edge of the mere fantasy. We'd been sleeping a little better recently, but all the same, we have our struggles.
If I had to guess, I'd say it's around seven am right now, with the early morning sun shining through the windows.
Shrugging, I murmur, "I don't want the others to die, Jas. I barely stopped that massacre, and even then, Indra was shot." I shake my head slowly. "This won't last."
"It will be okay (Y/N). Maybe we have peace, finally. Once Pike is out of the way, we can relax."
Oh, how I wish that were so.
The door bursts open, and I let out a squeak of surprise, jolting. Still, I'm as jumpy as ever. It's Clarke.
"Titus has requested our presence. All of us, in Lexa's room."
Here it is. I nod to the blonde, and she leaves. Sighing, I get dressed into my day clothing, an outfit that very strongly resembles the everyday usual Trikru getup.
I have to brush out Jasper's hair, to his extreme annoyance. I swear, it's as if he's never brushed it, it's so filled with tangles. We head up after, taking the stairs and making our way to Lexa's chambers. I swallow back fear as I see the box, waiting with Emerson inside. We flank into the room beside the other two.
"Are you going to tell us what's in the box now, Titus?" Lexa questions impatiently, and the fleimkepa dips his head respectfully.
"Forgive me. This is a gift from King Roan of Azgeda for Wanheda. The messenger said this is both proof of Azgeda's loyalty to the coalition, and an answer to a yet unanswered question. May I?"
He moves aside, motioning for the guard's to open the box. We all step up as they do so, finding ourselves faced with the restrained Emerson. Clarke breathes his name, and with a yell muffled by the gag, he rolls out, trying desperately to land any kind of hit on any of us.
