While Ben was bandaging John's arm, Blyke entered the dorm.

"Hey Blyke" Ben said, cutting the bandage and tying it's end.

"Hey. What are you doing here?"

"Found John beat up by Zeke. The guy was asking John to call him king since he is the 'StRoNGesT mAlE aRouNd' and told us to bow to him. Sorry to hear that you lost your Jack position man" Ben joked.

"That son of a b*tch. I'll put him in his place next time I see him."

"Hey, are you and John getting along alright?"

"Wtf of course not. The guy is such a jerk, the way he glares at me all the time, his attitude, and hogging the bathroom for 30 minutes in the morning. All of it is pissing me off!"

"You tried to blast him in the head."

"He slapped Remi!!"

"THE HEAD BLYKE"

"What would you do?"

"In your place and with your impulsiveness and ability? Blast his fingers of not try to kill him. But if it happened to me I would respond with a punch to the face not kill someone. Besides, he just mistook Remi for someone else."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

"Idk man. Probably thought it was Illena or something. Speaking of Remi, how is she? Still Ember crazy?"

"Oh about that. Isen said that you talked to her. I don't what you told her but whatever you said has gotten her to stop. I asked her if she needed help and she told me to forget about Ember. Though it was almost like she didn't mean it. Isen said that I am overthinking it." Ben walked out of John's room and went over to the stove. (Idk if there is a kitchen inside the dorms but lets say there is.)

"You mind if I use your stove? I'll make lasagna for you and John."

"Go for it." Ben teleported a bunch of ingredients from his dorm and started to cook.

"I don't think you are overthinking it. Remi might try to continue on her own. Even after I told her not to do that. Let's get Isen and talk to Remi together later."

"Sure. Thanks for trying to help us."

"It's the least I can do. Besides, Remi reminds me of an old friend of mine. I don't want her to meet the same end."

While John was busy resting, Blyke and Ben talked about random things, ate some of the lasagna, did homework, and then Ben left.

For an elite tier, he isn't such a bad guy if you actually get to know him. How do I get him and John to get along? Or at least not kill each other?

Ben walked out of the room to some
commotion outside. He saw Blyke and John arguing with some of Zeke's minions.  Blyke scratched one with his laser and told them off.

"Hey Blyke, hey John" Ben ran up to the two.

"Hey" they both said to Ben before glaring at each other.

"Oh c'mon. Stop glaring at each other so much."

"He shot me with a beam and you are friends with him?"

"He slapped Remi and is a horrible roommate."

"He mistook her for someone else and you could have killed him as a warning shot when he tried to apologize" he said to Blyke. Then he turned to John.

"You slapped his friend who he cares about. You still need to apologize to her. And you" he turns to Blyke "still need to apologize for trying to headshot John."

"Fine. Sorry for trying to blast you. But you better apologize to Remi." Blyke said through his teeth.

"Fine. I will when I see her." John said through his teeth.

"C'mon. Remi is nice. I think you two could get along" Ben tried to convince John.

"I doubt it" John mumbled. But then Blyke noticed Isen up ahead and ran towards him. John and I continued to walk in silence.

Zeke. Hmm. He could become a problem.

Ben was drinking his energy drink on the roof when he got a text from John.

John-Sera was hurt again. It's worse this time Meet me in the infirmary.

Was she hurt on the way back from the office? Why couldn't I sense it. Come to think of it, ever since that incident my range has dwindled down a lot.

Ben teleported to the infirmary to see Remi and Sera talking. Sera had a cast on her arm and leg.

"Who was it?"

"I dunno. Some girl with green hair and twin buns. Pushed me down the stairs and took a pic"

"Same girl from before?"

"Wait who are you two talking about?" Remi asked.

"Some girl was suspicious of Sera. She wanted to test if Sera still had her ability or not. Threw a rock at her head last time" Ben explained.

"That's awful. Why would she do that?"

"Why not? The Ace loosing her ability? That's the best news for some people. Now you will become the biggest target in the school. Stick with me and I will teleport you from class to class."

"Ben I don't meed you to babysit me. I will be fine on my own."

"What do you mean target?" Remi asked, dumbfounded. Suddenly the door flew open and John ran in. He started to ask her questions, one after another. Ben walked up to Remi.

"Hey Remi, need help with Ember?"

"No, you can forget about that."

"Your friends Blyke and Isen are worrying about you you know."

"But I'm fine. I was just busy with stuff."

"Suuuuuuuuure. Stuff. Like?"

"Personal matters" Remi said before running away.

"Since when did you and Remi get so close?" Sera asked.

"We met while tearing down death polls. Then I met them at the movie theater in the mall. Ever since then I just kinda hung out with Blyke or Remi. Oh and Isen is my roommate." At the mention of Isen's name, John scoffed.

"He is nice if you get to know him a bit. Or just make him fear you like Arlo does. Also you kinda attacked him in the interview. Sure he was smiling while breaking your wrist but you did attack him so you aren't a saint either."

"Who's side are you on?"

"No ones. I'm just stating facts and look at things from different sides. You provoked him and he retaliated excessively."

"You sure had an eventful time while I was away." Sera said to the two guys.

"You have no idea. Also Remi doesn't agree with Arlo's ideals. So she is much easier to get along even as a low tier. I know you have no faith in people after Arlo but if you lock yourself away from everyone, you will just hurt yourself."

"Most of the people here are trash."

"Even in trash you can find something useful. But you gotta go through some trash first."

"Are you two ok?" Sera asked, concerned for the sanity of her friends.

"Yeah. You don't have to like people John, but don't turn them all against you ok? A time will come when you will need to rely on someone else." John didn't answer.

An hour passed and the final bell rang. Ben looked at his phone.

Blyke-We are going over to Remi rn. Meet in front of the girls dorms

Ok. Teleporting over rn.

"Well I got to go places. I need to make sure Remi doesn't do anything stupid. Get to the dorms safely ok?" With that Ben left.
