I walked through the door and dropped my backpack on the ground.
"Dad, what's for dinner?" I asked.
"Baked mac and cheese with Caesar salad and Filet Mignon," He replied.
"Yum," I replied. "My favorite." I loved my dads cooking. My dad was a chef at a five star restaurant in Tanoka, a few miles away. He smiled and winked at me.
"How was school, Tay-Bear?"
"Good."
"What'd you learn?"
"How to not fail a final." We laughed.
After grabbing a bowl of cereal, I walked back into the entryway, grabbed my backpack, and climbed the stairs to my room. A few hours and three bowls of cereal later, he called up to my brother and me.
"Taylor and Jackson, dinner's ready!" Charismatic as usual. We walked downstairs to dinner.
