I smiled down at the scale. 1.2 pounds in just one day just from eating more carefully.

"Hey Ana, chill. I'll get there. I promise." I whispered to myself. I decided to go back on that website, myproana.com and research some more about different ways to lose my extra weight healthily.

I shook my head. Starving isn't the answer, healthy diet and exercise is the way to go. They taught us about eating disorders in health class at school. They're really bad for you. I kept reading.

Ana was right. I was 5.3 BMI points above that girl on the website. I went back and checked her profile. She was tiny. She had a gap between her thighs and a flat stomach. Her ribs protruded out of her stomach and her pants stretched across her hipbones like a bridge over water. I didn't understand how she could want to be skinnier. Her photo was captioned, too.

Fat?! She was tiny. Fragile. She was so skinny I could probably snap her in half with one finger. I found it strangely somehow captivating and beautiful. I didn't know why. Ana snickered.
"Go away Ana. I know you're doing this to me. My head is going crazy" I silently pleaded.
