"Now... how exactly did I end up here!?" Sodis thought.

He found himself in a snow covered mountain range. It was night and the moonlight shined upon him and his horse. Bewildered with himself, Sodis started to navigate around the snow, hoping to find a road. While wandering aimlessly, he heard a disturbing screech coming from a cave. It almost sounded like a wendigo.

"Someone could be in danger!" Sodis worried.

Trying to pick up the pace and heading toward the noise while kicking up snow, Sodis was almost there. Then, something came at him. It startled him and he got knocked off his horse. The impact was so great his helmet had flew off.

"A...Wen-di-go?" Sodis wondered as he flew to the ground the ground.

Snow landed on his face. His horse was frightened. But calmed down. He was being dragged away. That's when he slowly started to lose conscious.

When he awoke, he was lying on a mat. Confused, he bolted up and took the time to contemplate his surroundings. Sodis concluded he was in a cave, and someone or something was living in it. The cave had a few candles, which made the cave dimly lit. Sodis could make out food leaning against one of the walls.

"Was I...dreaming? But, I don't recall camping in a cave..." Sodis thought.

He stood up. Unaware of everything thanks to the dim lighting, he bumped into something. When whatever object Sodis had knocked over hit the ground, it made a small noise. It sounded like some sort of blade. When he examined it more, he had never seen anything like it before. It was something that was obviously exotic.

"Hmm? You're up?" a voice whispered.

"Who's there?" Sodis asked.

There was no answer. Suddenly, the cave lit up even more. Making everything more visible. Sodis saw a woman with blue hair. He couldn't figure out where she originated from.

"Um well, my name is Sodis, and I'm the leader of the guardians of the gods." Sodis stated, hoping she would respond.

"Guardians? Never heard of them."

Sodis was surprised. She probably was a foreigner.

The woman then said "Signas...is my name."

"Did you take me here?" Sodis asked.

"Yes, I thought you could've died from frostbite after I hit you so I was worried. Sorry about that. I thought you were a wendigo." Signas replied.

"It's fine. But, you said you didn't know the guardians. Where do you come from?" Sodis asked.

"I come from here." Signas said.

"Well then, where are we?" Sodis asked.

"Dunno." Signas casually replied.

Sodis thought she was joking then chuckled.

"What's funny?" Signas asked.

"She's not joking?" Sodis thought.

Worried, he went outside to try and see if they were in the middle of nowhere. It was still snowing and there were trees, rocks, and mountains. His horse was also outside. It started to walk away. Sodis followed his horse and Signas started to follow Sodis. To be honest it was awkward. So he stopped, feeling bad for her he asked if she wanted to come along.

"If we find a road, maybe I could find my way back to the guardians base.   It's much warmer, there's more food, and the beds are alot cozier. Do you want to come along?" Sodis asked.

Signas thought about if Sodis was going to be like other humans and treat her like an animal. Considering that most humans do. But this time it felt different. She then accepted the offer and followed Sodis.

As they walked and walked. Signas stopped.

"What's wrong?" Sodis asked.

"I...remember that there is a path in the the other direction." Signas confessed.

A cold breeze caused the the tree's branches around them to shake. Sodis just sighed.

"Well let's go." Sodis said.

Not long after they did finally reach a road. This caused Sodis to remember what he was doing. He was patrolling this area and got off track.

"Then, the base is probably over there." Sodis claimed.

So they traveled.
