Farlon suddenly dashed towards Ramna with his blade in his hand and swung it. But she quickly evaded it.
"Farlon! What are you doing!?" Ramna screamed.
Farlon still silent, he made another attempt to attack her. By now, Ramna realized he was actually trying to kill her.
"Please! I'm trying to get you on my side!" Ramna exclaimed.
Farlon was still silent, he made another attempt. This time instead of dodging it, Ramna deflected his blade. One attempt after another, Ramna's sword started to break. Farlon's sword on the other hand, still looked untouched.
After the countless and relentless attacks, Ramna's blade finally broke. Then he ran his blade into her chest.
She was in tears. Farlon was silent when he pulled out his blade from her. Ramna then collapsed onto the ground. Her blood started to seep out of her wound.
"I don't understand...W-Why didn't you fight back?" Farlon asked in a miserable tone.
Ramna could barely speak, she was dying.
"I-It's because I l-love y-you silly." Ramna said in a faint tone.
As tears rolled down her pale face, she smiled while taking her last breath. Farlon couldn't believe what he just did. The heartbreaking experience traumatized him.
Suddenly Farlon heard something running towards him. He looked behind him to see what it was. It was Alyut, he was shocked to find Ramna on the ground and Farlon with a bloodstained sword.
"What happened!?" Alyut asked.
Farlon stayed silent.
Alyut noticed that Farlon was raising his weapon.
"What are you doin-" STAB! Farlon's sword pierced his chest.
"NO!" Alyut yelled.
Alyut rushed to Farlon's side, trying to aid him. Farlon's chest poured out blood. Then he fell on the ground.
"Forgive me." Farlon said as he closed his eyes.
Alyut tried to save him, but he lost too much blood. There was nothing he could do. He then brought both their bodies to base. Everyone was in dismay when they saw them. A couple that usually cheered anyone up, just suddenly died. Everyone mourned them, they couldn't believe such a joyful couple died. Then, they buried them together.
After that, Alyut called in Ophelia. When she arrived, she got orders to investigate an area.
"One of our scouts reported a blue-haired woman near this forest." Alyut said while pointing at a map.
"I need you to see if it's her." Alyut added.
Ophelia nodded, then took off.
